Kingdom Hearts was a great game.  Honestly, the only people I have seen speak ill of it are those too narrowminded to pick up a controller and play for more than a half-hour.

I do not, however, enjoy beating the game and getting experience to level up when it just starts you over anyway.  So there's no point awarding experience at the final battle.  That was so rediculous.  The game was relatively easy if you choose Normal difficulty and chose to keep the sword.  So when people say that it is too easy, I tell them, play on Hard and relinquish the sword and keep the staff.  It'll be hard...

I can not wait until KH II comes out.  Now, Chain of Memories was a total waste of frickin' time.  I was only going to play to get the middle story, however, I ditched it and decided to read a synopsis online (which I reccomend you all do).  Kingdom Hearts has a great storyline.  I will admit that the extra characters native to their worlds idea was useless since you could only use them there, so why level them up.

 You get EXP in the last battle because the last boss isn't really the last boss, to get the "true" ending, you must beat Phanton in Neverland, the six-armed-giant-white-robot-dude in Agrabah, and lastly Sephiroth in the Hades tournament, the last one only become avaible after you finish the game.

 I bought KH II already, in Japanese (the guy at the store lied to me, "Oh 'course it is in english! I guarante you!" at least the next day I convinced him  to trade.) And it looks (at least where I could go without knowing anything) more FF-ish than the first one. For starters, it looks like (not sure) you start playing with what it looks like it's an 'adult' Sora, just the fact he is an adult and not an kid is already more FF than Disney, I can waste precious moments of my life counting how many Disney "heroes" are kid, while I haven't seem almost no FF hero who isn't an adult.
 Secondly, until where I played, I didn't saw almost no Disney references, maybe they were written, I know, Japanese language and all.
 But again, it can be as in the first KH, where, in the beggining, you find, lest count: Tidus (Kid), Wakka (Big kid), Selphie (Small kid), Leon, Yuffie, Aerith, Cid (FF7) and not too far in the game, Cloud. But after those is DISNEY, DISNEY, DISNEY and DISNEY all the way, only with another encounters with Cloud at the coliseum and Leon, Yuffie and Aerith in the ending of the game, plus some boxes with Chocobos pictures. And of course, after you beat the game, Sephiroth. See? FF only in the beggining, could happen again.

 And for the LOVE OF GOD! Taking out Ramuh, Titan, Ifrit as summon to leave place for BAMBI!?!!!?

I don't know if it was a rumor, but somone told me that the people at square sent a letter to disney as a joke about making a game, and disney was all for it, and so the square people were like ok. But I'm not sure thats true.

I don't think companies that have nothing in common in the competive market would do something like that to earn enemies for no reason. It has no benifit, unless you've got a man on the inside that can take pictures of the faces of the people when they open the email/letter/instant message/phonecall.

That's just like saying FF7 was good because of it's success, or that the new grand theft auto is automatically a hit just because people expected it to be great and bought it before waiting for the reviews.

Number of copies sold means nothing.
