Harvest Moon: Seasons Change

Welcome! Some of you may remember me (highly doubt it) as the guy who tried a HM game a year or so ago. Well, I started again, like 2 weeks ago, and must say, tis alot better. Anyways, withought further ado...!


STORY:

( Does'nt really have a story as of yet. ^_^ )

INFO:

This game was inspired by my loooove for HM. I also want'd to add all the elements alot of people would like to see in a HM game that the official didn't have. This is not a remake and will include 7+ girls. All your favorites will appear! Ann, Elli, Karen, Muffy, and many more! ^_^

Some of the features in the game will be a fully functional 'clock' system that appears in the bottom of the screen.

A 'farming' system.

A more advanced Dating Simulation. (Will have alot of features)

Lots of new events and rivals (some of the rivals just SUCK).

And much, MUCH more!

ADDITIONAL INFO:

I have all the battle animations (axe, hammer, scythe) all done but I have yet to code them in. So far all thats coded is Hoe & Watering Can. And in one of the screen you can see a rock, well Im having a little trouble getting it (even though its basically just an edit of the hoes coding >_<). Also when inside I have the timer stop, which also means it stops calling a commen event which displays the timer, so I need to fix that as well. (thinks thats it.) @_@

I would really like help on this game. Since I am basically a one man army all I really need is spriters (both characters and tiles). Also a CG artist or a CG colorer cause I can draw CG's myself.

Please comment and tell  what you would like to see in this game. If it's something original and new I will credit you.

Also if I lose all hope I will release what I have and everyone can overflood the world with HM Fan Games.

Your maps are a little too open for my taste, but your graphics are very consistent and great looking overall. I'm guessing they're sprite rips. Good Job.

I beat Harvest Moon 64 and loved it so I will play this game.

Well, of course its open! You have to work on it and add new things as you progress through the game. Thats one of the things that make HM so fun.

(But just in case alot of people think the maps are to empty what do you suggest I add to make them better?)

And yes these are rips.

I'd say add levels (Mountains and Hills) and trees. If your game doesnt have levels, I'd say get maybe some RTP chipsets an edit them so the colors match.

Now THATS a new idea. I don't know if that would work out all to well, but I'll have ta think about it. o_o

I love the Harvest Moon games, and this seems pretty loyal to the games' style. Hope it turns out well!

I finally ripped the town man. It kinda sucks but it's useable and contains 90% of all the town graphics.

So expect to see some town maps soon, then once I get all the characters ripped, a demo!

Remember... give credit for the most sucky titlescreen  ever  to/by me.. T.T Anyway, I guess you are getting better at chipsets (but from what I have seen over AIM, make them cleaner ^.^) But start doing Charsets and such (So I dont have to... I hate ripping from the GBA). Your coding is really really good, too.

Ok, first of all I have decided which girls will and won't be in the game. There will be a grand total of 7-9 girls. (still deciding on some) Also there rival! YAY.

Girls that WILL be in the game:

Ann - Rival Cliff
Elli - Rival Doctor Miko (he has a name now )
Karen - Rick (Will prolly change cause he sucks. Soz Rick fans)
Popuri - Kai
Celia - Basil (Come on, the guy's perfect for her.)
Nami - Gray
Muffy - (Undecided, maybe original character.)

Girls that WILL NOT be in the game:

Marry (cant remember name, but girl with glasses)

Girls that ARE BEING CONSIDERED:

Harvest Goddess
Harvest Witch (High % she will)

I assume it takes place in Mineral Town
Put in a black chick you can marry, so when you have a kid it will be like half black. I mean I personally find black chicks unattractive
But like no Harvest Moon games have that much diversity

This game takes place in a 'new' town. Flowerbud Village! Yes, it's just dripping with joy!

As for black chicks...uhm, I highly doubt it. I might make a ghetto gangsta girl who uses slang or something...
