I don't get it. When people see the title "Final Fantasy" they freak out. Oh well. I'm not gonna waste my time trying to defend fangames anymore. I didn't get the "Change the name" crap on this site, but I see a lot of others do. To everyone with the FFFangames suck idea, go **** yourselves.

All right, I've looked at the site in detail. You just need to give us more detail. Everything you gave us on the site could make just one paragraph. This is why people are saying work on your storyline. If you don't give away the best part, telling more of your storyline doesn't mean you're spoiling the storylinge. If you can't give us anything else without giving away the best part, you need to rework your storyline.

The map...even if it wasn't designed by ASCII/Enterbrain, the chipset you used is still considered RTP. That is why most here are saying the maps need work. The chipset isn't used that great. I'd say go to Phylomortis.com and get the future chipsets there like Star Ocean and Chrono Trigger, and just change the colors to those.

Now this is a personal question. Do you want as many people as as possible to play your game?

If so, have the name stay as Chaos Source (which isn't that great of a name).

If you don't care, keep the FF. A lot of people skip over FFFangames when they want to download something.

Dude, just because your game is a fangame and it's looks decent doesn't mean that fan games arn't wrong. In reality, you can make what you want, but what the people want are original games that don't rip-off a series name. Your game would appeal much more if it didn't have the sony emph on it.

You need to work on your mapping (No offense) but it's like a serious wasteland on those screenshots. Put in scenery.
