Names: Well alot of my characters dont have names yet...

Stunted Growth: Well just want them to gain exp but not gain a lv once they hit the requirement untill they go to the training grounds...

and purple whenever you a have negative status untill you cure yourself

Twin brothers and what they become over-time as they age. In the beginning a tragic event happens causing them to go different paths. You get to control both characters but whatever you do with one brother will in some way affect the other brother's story. I'm really wanting to go with the story I wrote but then again I'm also wanting to give the player freedom of choice and the game have different endings as well.....my path is tragic for one and well more uplifting for the other unless you wanted that to happen then its a happy ending......

Battle Technique


I'm trying to get a cross b/w Saga Frontier and Legend of Mana

Ex: Attack- Train and Attack Combo

Defend- Choose who you are going to defend or defend yourself

Magic- Train and Spell Combos Works sorta like regular attacking but will gain more powerful magic sorta like two basic spell creating a secondary spell and like attacking with your weapon once you learn the spell you can use it in your spell combo......

Items- not really needing to explain this since its basic as of now but maybe I'll come up with something special

Special Skills- Depends on character and their class.......

Flee- sometimes its best to run away but I'm also thinking of teleport (% of successfull escape depends on character's skill instead of depending on the speed of the pc and monster)


Game Training.....

This will help move the story along some and still learn the basics.

For the lil tutorial-half for most games teaching you how to battle and all that I was gonna have Krynth (the twin with the emblem knight) be trained by the emblem knight seeing how he was second in command under Krynth's father and a good friend despite the elf and human prejudice........but his is going to be basic melee and horsemanshp, and just about everything a Squire should know before becoming a Knight (as for him being a Knight depends on if the player wishes to follow that profession) and w/e else the emblem knight knows and can pass on.....

As for Justinian his training is harsh for he is a prisoner, he wont get a weapon but instead will be working as a slave and learn alot of the basic non-proffeciacy skills (sorry right now I really cant think of what its called) like mining, thief skills or something.

More Stuff!


Guilds and Factions: Fighter's Guild, Mage, Thief, Houses, Assassin, and well other stuff as well

Job list: Knight, Paladin, Barbarian, Bard, Rogue, Thief, Summoner, Assassin, Druid, Ranger, Archer, Necromancer, Death Knight, and so on......(There is alot and right now I cant think of em all)

Thief: Pickpocketing (also stealing from shops) ,Pick locks, Arm and disarming traps, stealth (got a visibility meter but it sux)

Archer/Ranger: Hunting,Carving,Herbalism, Cooking as well as woodcutting and making your own campfire, fletching.

Alchemy: (not FMA style but making your own potions)

Fishing,Mining,Smithing,Acrobats (have to learn how to climb and all that stuff),Harvesting, pottery, Enchanting,(Telepathy,Telekenisis,) Swimming and anything else I think of

Pets (Familiars): From buying them at a shop to catching them in the wild, raising them till they die or are sold (maybe even have them run away!)

Real Time: Day/Night, Hours/Minutes, Month's, Seasons, Random Weather and actual flooding

Build your home or castle! (Thats gonna be hard for me to do!) as well as buy, sell and rent

Edit: I almost forgot but I'm also thinking of adding holidays as well....

Mini Games


So yea I'm going to have alot of mini games! Well not too much and if I can do them.....I'll also try to make them go with the game in some way.

I'm thinking of adding fan games but they're gonna be extras after completing the game and more of a mini game than an actual game (that and also to test things out for my main game)

Chess and checkers: Thinking of making it isometric and sorta like they did with Harry Potter though I first saw something like that for this Star Wars Battle chess game I use to have....

Rock Paper Scissors, Card Games (Poker, Solitaire, and somethng like Tetra from FF), and that weird game where you guess which cup has the coin underneath it......

Stripper dice (Leisure Suit Larry had it and to me it was real fun)

Obstacle course. Dummies and Archery Range (Mainly for the guilds)

Tetris, Pinball,

Religion? And Store hours....

I'm thinking of having stores closing at certain hours, church being held sunday and maybe wed. evenings, and the thief be able to pick door locks at night and rob the place and guards out a night instead of townfolk and so everything that may come into play with the 24hr system...

"Knights Shadow"

Chapter one:

Screams, sounds of flames, burning flesh, and wood. Smell of smoke and death. Hacking of blade against bone and steel. The touch of blood and feel of fire. People frantically running from their attackers, searching for loved ones.

"Mother! Father!" I held unto my younger brother who couldnt bear what he saw and heard. I screamed for them as the two of us searched together. Mother was the first to have spotted us. She ran to us nearly getting hit by a fleeing horse. She fell to our feet unto her knees, she held us tight with tears bursting down her face. For this brief moment we felt safe even though fire lurked all over, peace though we were caught in the middle of this war.
"Mother where is father?" She looked down at my brother and I. "Heh heh heh! What's this?" A dark elf stood there licking his blade as our mother's reflection glistened upon his steel.
"Kids stand back, run if you must!" "Yes children run as fast as you can, I'll take care of your mother!" The dark elf gave haste towards us with his sword head high. From below under mother's cape a flick of light coming from the fire's reflection on her blade glistens.

My brother and I ran and hid behind a bush and watched as she fought against the dark elf. Mother tripped over some creepers as she jumped back to dodge her assailent but in the process dropped her dagger as well.
"You filthy whore! Sleeping with the enemy!" Wide eyed we watched as she trys to reach for her blade but she cant reach cause her left leg is tangled in the creepers. My brother burries his face in my shirt as I stared at the dark elf towering over mother. Unable to take it anymore I jump out from behind the bush and grab her dagger in attempt to stop the elf from killing her...

Laughter rose from his chest as if in mockery of my attempt to fight back, brother kept in hiding but watched in fear. I missed every time I attempted to stab him, he would dodge all my attacks.

"Enough of this!" A fast strike with the back of his hand against my face and my body flew against the hard ground.

"Where the hell do you think your going?!" The dark elf leaves towards mother once more as she fights to get loose from the creepers. Unable to get loose she looks up as steel falls down upon her forsaken body. My brother and I close our eyes in hope that this nightmare would end but it did not, mother's voice reached our ears still.

A sound of a bow struck and soon after a disoriented sound. I opened my eyes to see mother alive and the dark elf falling to his knees with an arrow sticking out of his head.

"Father!" I ran from where I was not to far from mother. Father kneeled down by mother as I stood there and watched him cut her loose and with a hand out helped her up. She falls into his arms and the two of them looked into eachothers eyes for just a brief moment before looking down at me. After father had asked me where brother was they both looked to where the two of us had hid. A feeling of dread overcomed me when I saw there eyes turn to horror,

I looked and saw that the nightmare wasnt over. My eys widened, mother started to cry, father drew his sword....

"I wouldnt make a move if I were you!" There stood three more dark elves, the one who spoke held a sword against my brothers throat. One stood to his right with his bow drawn and set while the other standing to his left with his bow as well aimed at us. Father glanced at mother whispering in elven tongue, she nodded and placed me behind her out of sight...

Father's voice was calm and settle as he tried to negotiate with the dark elves. The dark elf to the left of my brother grew angry with the one with my brother as they whispered what to do, he disagreed with the plan. At first some hope of my brother's survival was there but that was untill I saw them grin with sinister looks. The one with my brother handed him over to the elf that disagreed. Mother stood behing father whipsering words I've never heard before, a dim blue light surrounded my body as cold and warm chills ran through my veins. Father and the sword drawn elf charged eachother. The elf with his bow still set took a step in front of the one with my brother. The one with my brother took his blade and slit my brother's throat after the sword drawn elf was decapitated by father. Mother was about to run to brother but an arrow from the bow drawn elf struck her in the chest. She fell down bleeding to death unto my lap, the blue light which covered me faded. Father took a dagger and threw it at the bow drawn elf but was to late, he had already drawn another arrow which struck father in the shoulder. The elf fell to the floor and started reaching for another arrow when father's dagger hit him in the thigh. The elf that had brother threw his dagger as well and hit father in the lower chest. The bow drawn elf was about to shoot father again but missed, nearly hitting me and got a tree instead, when father threw the elf's dagger that had hit him in the chest. The dagger went into the bow drawn elf's heart. The remaining elf in furry pulled his sword out and ran to father. Father weak from his wounds held his sword as steady as he could and blocked the elf's oncoming attack. It wasnt long before father fell to the ground and the dark elf plunging his blade slowly into father's ribscage. Father coughed as he drowned in his own blood.

The dark elf breathing hard then twisted his blade and got up pullng it out. I stared into the fire of his eyes when he looked down at me as I held mother's body still in my lap. My eyes then turned and I watched in horror as my father's blood dripped from the elf's blade. I could'nt move, frozen in fear I closed my eyes and buried my face into mother's chest, my tears mixed with her blood. The dark elf's steps grew closer, with a steady pace....

"Fire!" A volley of arrows steaked the sky over my head towards the dark elf. One by one they fell and hit the elf knocking him back. After the arrows had stopped a man cladded in silver armor trimmed with gold and a cape came behind me and looked down into my tear filled eyes. He was human as were the six men with him and wore the same emblem as my father. Several men in his command went and made sure the elves were dead.

"I'm sorry for your loss, but we must go..." I looked down at my mother then as I held her in my arms....... "Men gather them up and lets head out..." I removed mother's necklace and placed it around my neck.

"Where's your brother?" I stood up as two soldiers picked mother's body up and pointed, past two other soldiers in the process of picking father up, towards the bush where brother and I had hid. Two other soldiers that stood behind him looked and went to where I pointed. Mother was placed on a horse with one of the soldiers that had carried her, the other got on his horse. "C'mon, give me your hand..."
The cladded knight was already on his horse, his hand was out for me to grab. I grabbed hold and was pulled up unto the horse with him. "Hurry men we need to go before..." "Agggggghhhh!"

A dark elf jumped from behind the bush where bush where brother was, the two soldiers there fell to the ground with blades sticking out and through their backs. The two soldiers with father's body pulled out there bows and started shooting. Another elf stood between the arrows with his shield, then ducked after the arrows struck it. The other elf alread had his bow ready with two arrows strung, letting loose each arrow hit its target and the soldiers fell to the ground next to father's body bleeding to death.

"C'mon we gotta get out of here!" The emblem knight turns his horse around and flees, followed by the two remaining soldiers. Arrows fly past us, the soldier alone falls off his horse when an arrow hit below the horse's rib. The soldier's body falls forward and is crushed by the weight of his horse.

(Character Change same setting)

"Uhhh...." *cough* I stared blankly upward towards the sky but the leaves kept the moonlight from reaching me, I could still see a dim light though. Something wet and heavy was on my feet...

What was it? It fell off as I sat up. There was blood all over me, but it was'nt mine. What happened? I looked around and saw bodies, humans and dark elves, but none gave me grief exept one. I tried to stand up and run to my father's body but tripped over a soldier's as I was going through the bush. I fell to the ground hard, my whole body was numb and felt a lil stiff as if I had been sleeping for a real long time. Why? Crawling over, I placed father over my lap and cried as I gripped his necklace. I removed it around his neck and placed it around mine.

"You theiving lil ****!" I was jerked back by the collar of my shirt, the dark elf held me there as I tried to keep myself from choking. He pulled the necklace from around my neck, breaking the chain, then threw me to the ground. I watched as he placed it in his pocket. Next to me was a dead elf and beside his body was a dagger, I noticed it was mother's. Taking the dagger I went to stab the dark elf but he dodged my attack and kicked me to the ground. I crawled for the dagger which I dropped but he caught me by the collar once again before I could get it. I struggled to get free from his grip as he removed his short sword from the sheath. I watched as the blade went slowly towards my stomach, listened to the flames and his elvish tongue cursing me, I closed my eyes....a cold chill runs through my blood.

"Arrrrggghhh!" The grip around my shirt loosens and I fall to the ground. I look up and see the dark elf, his face twisted in pain and his hand hangs loosely as he holds his sword before dropping it. The dark elf stumbles towards me as I crawl backwards to avoid him. His body falls face forward nearly on top of me. There is an arrow stuck in his back. I looked to see a human soldier, he laid there starring back, blood dripped from a wound in his chest. He smiled at me for only a brief moment then laid there dead. I went and picked up mother's dagger and sheathed it in my belt then went to the dark elf and took father's necklace back. I started to leave but the dark elf who almost fell on top of me was still alive. He had grabbed my foot and tripped me. He slowly dragged his short sword on the ground, with my free foot I kicked him in the face causing him to once again drop his blade. Letting go of my other foot I went and grabbed his short sword and plunged it into his back.

Breathing hard and tired, I looked around once again at all the dead bodies as I tried to remember what had happened before I woke up. The last I recall is this dim blue light surrounding my body as cold and warm chills ran through my veins and a dark elf held a blade to my throat and...."Mother!"

She was no where to be seen, neither my brother and that glow what was it? I did'nt feel any pain from the blade, just all of a sudden fell to the floor dizzy and weak, but after that I woke up. I looked to where I saw them last, brother had held unto mother's cape as father protected them in front with his shield....whats that?

Horse tracks led away from battle out to the plains so I decided to follow them in hope of finding mother and brother. In the distant I see two riders coming towards me. It had started raining by the time I got to the edge of the woods and the fire had already died out so I had lil light to see, being half-human I couldnt see nearly as good as elves. By the time I saw who the riders were my fate had been sealed. Two dark elves came on black stallions. One carried his shield across his back and the other with his blade drawn. Both were starring right at me eye to eye. I turned and ran back trying to get away but I could'nt. A hit to the head and I fell unconcious.....

Chapter 2

After leaving the dark elves behind I started to fall asleep, my eyes were heavy as rock and the steady beat of the horse trotting didnt help. The emblem knight insisted that I could but I tried to fight it. I dreamt of what happened, flashes after flashes it wouldnt stop, then all of a sudden I was buried under fire....I woke up breathing hard and scared. It had started raining and we had picked up pace for cover underneath a tree. The emblem knight got off his horse and helped me down before going to help the remaining soldier with mother's body. I ran to her crying and kneeled down to place her head on my lap. Tears streaked my face and dripped unto hers as I buried mine...its all my fault! If I had only watched over my brother none of this would've happened and all of us could've escaped! I was the only survivor....

     "It's not your fault..." I looked up at the emblem knight when he said that and just wiped the tears from my face before looking down at mother's face for the last time. I watched as the two of them buried my mother underneath the oak tree we had taken cover. I thought of what the emblem knight had said about it not being my fault and as much as I wish that to be true I still felt I could've done something. The rain had now ended by the time they were done burrying mother. I went and said by final good-byes saying I'm sorry for not watching over brother and I'll never let this happen again, that I'm going be strong next time....I'll show them!

       "Hey kid are you alright?" The emblem knight sat there on his horse looking down at me as well as the other soldier. " Yea I'm alright..." I'll show every last one of them....."Well come here and give me your hand" The emblem knight held out his hand for me to grab then pulled me up on his horse and took off followed by the soldier. I watched as mother's grave faded behind me and thought of what I promised and what I should do....

       "So which one are you?" I stared up at the emblem knight wondering what he meant by that.. "Well you are the commander's kid arent you? "Yea I am...." "Well you got a name don't you?" " Yea I do its Krynthilus Demasion" "Whoa thats a huge name!...sorry no offence but I've always had trouble pronouncing elvish names...mind if I just call you Krynth?" "No...I don't" "Well Krynth I'm a Knight of Dove and was second in command under your father...rest his soul. You can call me Sir Vandrik" He smiled at me after the introduction was done and handed me a free arm which I took and we both shook.

      "Sir Vandrik can I ask you something?" "Of course Krynth what is it you want to know?" "What's to become of me? I have nowhere to go and I've never left home before." "Well as of right now I'm taking you with me and you are welcome to stay. As from there we'll decide on our next course of action" "How far do we have till we get there? "Oh it may take a day or two till we get there so we'll be making camp come nightfall"

        I looked and saw that day was only starting. The sun was just now rising from the horizon and I saw nothng but open plains behind me and a few trees. The day was a long one and not much was said till dusk came and Sir Vandrik and the other soldier set camp within a small wooded area near a pond.

Yes sir! lol yea well I posted some on another site and kinda got discouraged but none the less I'll do that and I want some hardcore honesty, alot of these are incomplete and will be edited over-time but I'd appreciate in detail what it is I need to do and I'll see what I can do to fix it....
