lol well I will it's just the way I work is that I jump around alot, procastinate, to lazy, or forget....something like all that in one...
If I do screenshots now it'll only be of the mapping w/out events cause I'm not doing those till I have all my mapping, char sets, and so on done (Or I'm going to be so lost when I do the major events).... I guess I could add some to give it detail then show ya'll but it's not going to be in the game exactly like that....
I've got the inside of the house pretty much complete so I guess I could show what I got there but there really isnt any detail to it yet and still incomplete....

Interactive Way to Shop

Alright well so far all goes well with what I'm wanting to do covering events but now all I have to find are some panoramas for the different shops available, inns, guilds, and so on....as well as pictures of some items, animals, tools, and owner of the store and w/e else is needed to add or I'll just have to customize it myself. (I've been using RTP to test events).
Only got a few questions that probably have been answered....
1) Is there a way to add a animated picture? Or do i have to make a larger version of the item I want as a characterset?
2) I want my panorama to be animated as well but w/out scrolling...is it possible? (Like if I use a panorama of an inn and it has a lantern..can I make it to where the lantern will flicker?
3)One thing I have'nt tested yet since I dont have the picture's I need is can I make it to where the picture is above the panorama but below the dialogue box as well as the hero?

1. You can't add gifs or anything, but you can make battle animations, and charasets also do well too for smaller animations. To get Charasets to animate in the way you want them to may require a bit fo coding, but is still easy overall to do.
2. You can't make animated panorama's, unless you do some coding, where you set it as one panorama, then a few tenths of a second later, you set it as another panorama, in effect causing a lantern to flicker.
You could also try to put picture overlays on the map so the characters and other events will get affected whenever the lantern flickers by the changes in light, but this takes a bit longer to do.
3. not sure.

Pictures never go over Text Boxes, and always go over heros. As to pans, you have to have a seperate frame for each pano you want. I recommend no more then 4 frames per animated pano, because panos can rack up your file size pretty quickly. Pictures can also be animated by switching to a new picture file after the selected ammount of time has gone by. You will need an understanding of basic commands and paralle processes to do these things.
If you need something told in depth, just ask. I'm sure either I or TjJackson can assit you on what you need. Sometimes, all a person needs is a screenshot of the code to go off of

Try to increase the contrast, or reduce the Color depth of the picture. That usually works.

Soundsets?

So yea just thinking of adding soundsets to the game as for how they are to be used I've not yet decided on whether only for special events and if it should be with the dialoque box or not.....since what they is limited. Probably use it the same was as Planescape used it for its games... the characters talking amongst eachother every once in awhile and for boredom poses...
So far all the soundsets I got from Torment are'nt working...Nameless, Annah, and Dakkon both were saved successfully but when importing it into rpg maker there is no sound when I go to test play...checked the volume and made everything else worked and even tried intalling them again but no luck...
I got Murray the talking skull from Monkey Island and some scenes from the Holy Grail that work just fine, even found 150 japanese voices that go great!

Reading up on cliche's....

Risus Fantasy Cliches
The Grand List of Fantasy Cliches
And well my storline does'nt sound good at all anymore and may have to change the whole thing or allow the player choose there path entirely. And if they follow through with one of those cliche's then it's there doing other than me adding it as a choice...
Guess what bugged the most was "one twin being good and the other evil cliche" though I dont have one evil right off the start but over time his heart is twisted for several different reasons and its not like he's out to rule the world either...then again its the player's choice on how each twin takes there paths and develope on the game...
