Morphing Tutorial

Hey all i need a tutorial that will tell me how to make my hero transform into different monsters using skills.  Thanks for the help

I think gamingw has a tutorial about this but the main bullet point here is common events, and battle commands.  Like have a transform command that triggers a switch and calls a common event that takes the hero out of the party and replaces him with the monster character.
Something like that.
