I just started on this game, but I kinda got an idea of what the plot is going to be.

Your Charecter's name is Ezekiual Reaper. He is part of a special Opps team called the Elite Eight. The story starts off with you entering the "secret" military base where your team is located. You're returning from a trip to an island called Aorre. There, something happened to you to make you lose your entire memory, causeing you to go back down to the grunts. During the course of the plot, your memory returns to you to reveal that the military you fight for hasn't been entirely truthful with you. You use a type of magic in the game that is forbidden by a certain religious group called the Pesilience. Everyone in your world uses this magic, as it is considered common nolege there. The Pesilience believe that every time you cast a spell with this magic, that someone from 'the promised land' dies. They have been attacking people for some time with terriroist attacks, so they set up your group, to eliminate their radical group. But in fact, they are correct. I don't want to give my entire story away, but there are some things in it that (I think) twist the plot pertty good.

Some other side characters
Phoneix: A freind of yours that trys to explain what has happend so far to the military. She is also a member of the Elite Eight
Viper:He is a member of the Elite Eight. He drinks alot
General Spruce: Your comanding officer when you return. You get a strange feeling when your around him...
Doppleganger: He's the shape shifting general from the southern islands. He has something hidden about him that you'll find out about later in the game.



But yeah, this is a work in progress. But if you have any advice or any questions...

Doppleganger a final name for that guy or just what your calling him for now?

I've heard some bad things about amniesa plots and all being unoriginal, in a way I agree with that seeing how there have been alot of games played with it, but yea anyhow I'm sure you could come up with something to make it original....so I'm curious on what plans you have for the pc...

Cant really help though since I dont really play this genre...

Each one of the Military members in this game that have a high rank have a code name. Doppleganger's  real name is General Raff. But yeah, I'm putting a Good/Bad system on it, so it will have multiple endings.

Your intro sounds promising, but there are quite a lot of potential pitfalls you need to watch out for. Try to steer clear from making the story too much like Final Fantasy; I can see that happening in the future, so be careful. The amnesia thing is pretty dangerous also, you might want to re-think that.

Other than that, I'd like to see more of the story. Don't worry about spoiling the story; if it really bothers you that much, put a spoil warning or something. I need to know the whole idea before I can really pass judgement on how well the story works.

My two biggest problems involve the amnesia and the same of the squad. "Elite Eight" just sounds stupid, maybe give them somthing not involving an adjective followed by a number.

Lol didnt really think about that "elite eight"....

Yea names not a problem for me except Doppleganger but you've already explianed that to me so thats doesnt bother me anymore, using numbers in that way may cause a problem if a member leaves or someone new joins, think it was the 3 Musketeers movie i saw that had a situation on that when Dartaneun (however its spelled) tried joining Athos, Porthos, and Aramis...

Well, it's just elite squads of an army usually don't name themselves after how many are in there. Somtimes maybe they were a regular unit and were dubbed the elite eight by the other soldiers, but don't make their acknowledged name elite eight.
