OCC: Okay, here it goes. Forgot about something! Use a good grammar if possible, aye? Let's go!
BIC:
"What do you mean I can't enter the town?!"
A short man dressed in rotten clothes spoke to an enormous guard and his partner. Them both would not let him enter the Capital of the Holy Kingdom of Arghol.
"You can't enter, it's nightfall already! The walls are closed!" said the guard. The short man, with his big nose and scar over an eye, was starting to get impatient, but he took a deep breath.
"You don't know who I am, right?" said the ugly short man, smiling with a weird look.
The guards didn't answer and looked at him again, with a surprised, yet mocking look in their eyes.
"I am Angulf! The Traveling Mandolin performer!" said Angulf, the Horrid, as he got his mandolin out of his bag.
The guards started to laugh loudly, but when they calmed down, one said: "Allright little man, why not playing a free performance? If it's good, we'll let you through..."
"Wait!" said the other guard "You can read music, right?"
Angulf smiled. That was what he was waiting for. "Indeed I can..." he said, smiling. This time he was telling the truth.
"Let him through, Wisteryon is seeking people like him!" said the guard to his partner. The other one opened his eyes wide and said: "Allrighty! Come right in, sir..."
"Angulf, my friend, Angulf, The Performer..." said Angulf.
The town was comepletely dark, and no one was in the street.
"I have to search for somewhere to sleep... A tavern perhaps... but a bench on a square is as good heh..." said Angulf to himself.
Suddenly, he ran against an old looking building.
"The Fried Pig Tavern... nasty name, probably filled with drinks and more pleasant services... I like it!" thought Angulf, as he entered the place.
The tavern was full of people, and many seemed to seek the adventure that Angulf was seeking as well.
To meet up with Wisteryon and gain some reward for seeking something... It seemed like a good price. And the reward would be juicy, of course. But where would the meeting have place?
That, he would find out tomorrow, for now, Angulf wanted to have a drink...

(Mean while)
Zek was about 2 miles away. He was coming on horse back, and planned to arrive by sundown. He would have, if it hadn't been for that ogre Thaldrick.
The capital city just came into site as Zek let out a sigh of releif. He had been traviling some time, and needed to empty his bladder. He stirred his horse, Galmede, on faster."Oh crap. It looks as I've come too late. The guards have locked up the gate. But who is that little man they're talking to? Wait! They let him in! Maybe they'll let me in as well!" Zek thought to himself.
Zek slowed as he approached the guards.
Guard 1:"Halt! No one is to go in this late at night! Camp outside the village and you may gain entrance in the morning."
Zek:"But why?"
Guard 1:"Special orders by Wisteryon. We are only allowed to let those who can read sheet music through."
Zek scrumages through his horse's saddle pack and shows it to the guard.
Guard 2:"Prove to us that you can play it!"
Zek then digs further into his horse's saddle pack to pull out a small wooden flute. He begins to play a somber tone.
Guard 1:"That's good enought for me. Open them up boys!"
Zek slowly rode into the dark town. It seemed like it was deserted."Alright, I was told to go to the Fried Pig Tavern and wait for Magenis there. Ah there it is." Zek thought to himself."Now all I have to do is wait till sunrise."

Argus is at the castle grounds (it is night still) Practicing his fire magic casting speed on the various braisers and torches around the castle. When he lit two on a wall in one of the main corridors of the castle he noticed a notice on the wall to all mages and knights that can read sheet music to come to the castle's main hall at once next day tomarrow.
"Hmm..." argus said looking at it attentively. "It seems that the Chief wizard Wisteryon is looking for an ancient sheet music. Surely he would employ someone of my calibur, for not only can I use magic I can also play the lute fairly well." Argus remembered when he was 8 his foster parents, the Hindales, had him take lute lessions.
"Well I am spent I might as well turn in, for it is late and there is no way Wisteryon would be accepting people into his presence at this time anyways."
Argus then went to his chamber and went to sleep.

(This happens in a different Gate)
The dark sky of the night was brighted by a small explosion on the town gate, followed by screams and curses.
Antheus runned away from the gate into a small forest close to town, closely followed by two guards.
"Filthy guards! It's impossible to talk to such scumbags" Antheus was angry at the guards, because they had not let him into town.
Antheus quickly remembered the dialogue that had happened between him and the guards... Everything was fine, until the guards asked him to show them some musical skills to prove he could read music.
Antheus played something on the flute to them, and the guards started to laugh at him (Antheus was able to read music, but had never played anything). Antheus answered with a Magic Missile that threw the chief guard 1.5 meters away.
Of course, Antheus had to abandon any hope from getting to town via that gate.
The guards pursued him into the forest, and Antheus knew he couldn't run much more.
In that moment, Antheus remembered his magic. "Well, I should've done this in the first place... Ash Nazg!!"
Antheus dissapeared from the forest, just when the guards were closing in.
Antheus reappeared in a tavern's bathroom. "Damn!! What's that smell?!?! Why must this cursed spell always take me to the world's most horrible places?!?!"
Antheus quickly walked out of the bathroom, and asked for a room. He paid 15 gold coins for it, and went right into bed (Without eating, the tavern's bathroom had ruined Antheus hunger for the night).
"That reward better be good!" Antheus thought before falling asleep.

OOC: I don't know if this is legal but I put more of my character's past at the bottom and he was in another chara's town at the time sorry if it messes up things.
BIC:
Argus awoke from the sound of the explosion.
"What in the damned name of The goddess of protection is going on?"
A guard ran into argus' room.
Guard: The east gate was attacked by a ruffian named Antheus he went into small forest but vanished when we got there.
Argus' eyes lit up at the sound of the name. "Hmm I see. He couldn't have gone far. Keep up the search. I want you to bring him to me so I can ask him what for and why he was here."
Guard: You see sir. He wanted inside the gate because he claims he can read sheet music.
"It becomes all clear now.
He attacked the guards because he was distraught. Ill see to it that he sees the Chief Wizard first thing in the morning. If he is in the town don't have the other guards bother with him."
Guard: Yes sir! (The guard left.)
Argus sat down back on the bed. "So a fellow half-elf from my old school comes back from the shaddows?"
Argus flashbacked to those days when he was learning to become a mage. He once went to the school in Alkippur and he was under the same teacher as Antheus' but that upheval hit the town and thier master was killed along with everyone but the both of them. Argus was unscathed but he got seperated with his classmate. Argus made it back to his foster parents in Arghol and was educated there ever since.
He went back to reality.
"Sigh no good freting in the past!" He decided to go back to sleep.

OCC: That's okay, elemental, but try to make it clear, so that there's no confusion
moving on!.
BIC:
A flash woke Angulf up from his sleep.
"Get out of here!" he screamed to the prostitute he had beside him, as the girl looked at him with an umpleasant glimpse and left the room.
Suddenly, guards started to scream, as they were hurrying towards the city gates.
"Ashes... only ashes!" screamed one.
"Where could the murderer be?!" said another.
They were truly scared. Angulf hurried up to get out of the tavern, and get there. He was curious.
A sudden flash interrupted the talking, as a tall man appeared out of nowhere. He was wearing a long, white cloack, and a blue pointy hat. His hair was long and blonde, with a beard covering most of his face.
"There is nothing to see here! I will look to this matter myself!" he said, with a really authoritarian voice.
Angulf knew who that man was... Wisteryon, the Master, had made his appearence. They said that Wisteryon had the skill to read minds.
Angulf decided that there was really nothing he could do over there, so he started to left. But then he heard a voice.
"Hey you! 'Traveling Performer!'" Wisteryon spoke loudly to Angulf, with a wicked smile on his face. Of course he knew the true identity of the thief.
"What is it?" he said, smiling and speaking politely.
"I will be seeing you tomorrow. The meeting is at the square. Do not miss it!" said the wizard. He suddenly dissappeared.
Angulf was surprised, but yet he didn't care too much. He only wanted the reward. For now, he would spend his last 10 bronze coins in a drink as a breakfast.
He wouldn't go to sleep again.

It was morning for Argus woke up, but he woke up early for he had to speak to Wisteryon.
'I must go see wisteryon right away about him.' Argus thought to himself.
Argus walked through the castle until he got to the great hall where the travelers were supposed to meet.
Wisteryon was there along with two guards.
Wisteryon: ah it is good to see you again high mage-knight of the the Holy Kingdom army.
Argus: Cut the crap old man what is going on?! I dreampt of screams in the streets. What went on last night?
Wisteryon: my my old friend what has gotten into you? Besides being upset about something that has been taken care of is not kosher indeed. There was a killing of a few guards last night. I known all along there would be desperate types that would do anything to get the quest I may give them. I can read your mind Argus, you are troubled, for one of your old friends has come here to claim the quest. Am I not right that you would want to partake in the quest as well?
Argus: Yes Master Wisteryon.
Wisteryon: Well we will wait on that for the others must come to my presence as well. Come sit. You must be starving.
Argus sat down at a newly materialized table. Chefs came in and put all sorts of food on the huge table.
Wisteryon sat at the very end next to Argus.
Wisteryon: So do you truely remember how to play the lute after all these years?
Argus: Yes I still do.
Wisteryon: You will have to show me soon enough... ah I hear footsteps someone is coming.

Zek entered the chamber.
Zek:"You Wisteryon?"
Wisteryon: Indeed I am. Who might you be?
Zek:"My name isn't important. Besides, you can read my mind right?" Zek walked up to the table and took an empty seat, and put his feet up on the table.
Argus:"Come on now, I'm trying to eat here!"
Zek:"Oh sorry. Now where's that little gimp I saw when I entered the town?"
Wisteryon:"Did he by chance have a mandolin?"
Zek:"Yeah, he did. You know who I'm talking about?"
Wisteryon:"Of course. He's another old freind of mine. His name is Angulf. He should be arriving soon."
Zek:"Good, cause I want to get a head start on these other guys. The pay better be good for this."
Argus:"Ha, you won't find it before me. You don't posses any kind of skill or talent."
Zek:"You'd be surprised at what i can do."
And with that, there came a creak from the large wooden door at the end of the hall.
Wisteryon:"Welcome freind."

Antheus felt scared when he heard about the dead guard after he woke up. Could it have been him?!?!
"NO! no guard would die from a Magic missile... It's not a killing spell... At least the first time."
Antheus left the tavern and walked towards the Castle. Then, he teleported inside to avoid the guards (He didn't want any problems like the previous night).
However, his teleporting spell always seemed to take Antheus to horrible places... This time, he ended in the Castle's prison, in a cell right next to a rotting corpse. "Damn!! Again!!!" Antheus thought while he covered his nose with a handkerchief. "I must be doing something wrong... I'll check this cursed spell later".
The cells were currently empty so there were no guards around. Antheus opened the prison gate (Which wasn't even locked...) and left to the Great Hall.
Upon getting there, he opened the gate and entered the chamber.
Wysterion was standing right there with two man. One of them (A wizard, who looked noble in some way) was familiar to Antheus.
"Greetings to everyone. I'm ..." Antheus said.
Wysterion quickly answered before Antheus finished: "antheus the Wizard, I know. Don't worry about the guard you hurt, he only fainted for a while. But try to control your temper!"
Antheus was relieved, though he was amazed by Wysterion's mindreading abilities.
"Thank the gods!! Well, has everyone arrived?"
Argus answered: "No, we are still waiting for some people."
Antheus then remembered him "Argus!!! Is it you?!"

OCC: Guys, try to make some sense, if you read my post before, you'll see that Wisteryon said that the meeting would be at the SQUARE. Moving one, but try to read well what the others write.
BIC:
Angulf walked towards the square, hoping to find Wisteryon there, but he found no one. only an expensive-like dressed man, who would speak to him.
"Wisteryon told me that someone of your... looks would be here. You are Angulf the Horrid?" asked the man.
"Don't you see my face? I'm not only horrid, I'm despiceful! People have confused me with a troll sometimes!" said Angulf, while he laughed.
The man told Angulf were to find Wisteryon, so he went to the Castle quickly. He entered into the main chamber, and as he saw the food, he jumped into a chair and started to eat.
He noticed some odd characters.
There was this huge man, with an axe on his back, talking rudely and eating like a beast.
And there were two wizards talking to each other, as if they knew each other.
And there was Wisteryon, expecting...
"What are you waiting for...?" thought Angulf. After thinking that little bit, he relaxed and started to eat.
"The last time I ate food like this, was when I was performing at the capital of the Empire. Many people don't welcome me here because of that... But hey! I have to do my job and sing my songs! How will I get my meal? Stealing? Not in this lifetime!" said Angulf, quickly, to another man sitting next to him.
The man would stare at him with a weird look and seek for a new seat.

OCC: I just tryed to go along with Eh. But anyway...
BIC:
Zek stood up and began pacing the halls. He started to walk twords the door, and turned to look at Angulf.
Zek: You think I'm a thief?
Angulf: Not at all. I just...
Zek: You just what? You judge my actions, and there fore believe you know who I am?
Angulf: Please, I'm sorry...
Zek: No, you don't know what your talking about.
Wysterion: Really, then why don't I enlighten them. This man here is a convict. He was sentenced to life in prison. He was charged with killing his commanding officer in our king's army. They let him lose, for inconclusive evidence. However, I was at that trial...
Zek: Shut your mouth! I don't want to hear another word about that case! It's behind me.
Wysterion: Calm down, calm down. Since we are all gathered, I believe that it is time we begin.

Angulf had just maddened Zek, but he didn't care. "Heh, he misunderstood my words..." he thought.
Wisteryon had stood up. Although he ahd taked things calmly with zek, he was now mad.
"We will speak of the juorney and the reward. I will begin from, what I believe, most of you want to hear about. the reward is this bag (he snapped his fingers and a bag appeared out of nowhere) with 1000 gold coins. You know gold coins are the most expensive and hard to get, and 1000 will ensure a lifetime of joy... for some." As he finished this words, Wisteryon snapped his fingers again, and the bag dissappeared.
"In order to get that price, you must seek for a sheet music I've been searching for, but due to our conflict with the Empire, the search has become... complicated, even for me. That is why I need to hire all of you. The sheet music is the Dead Lullaby..."
Angulf stood up. The Dead Lullaby? There were legends about that song. Some said that no one could hear it without dying, others that it could wake up armies of undead, and others who claimed that it could protect an entire city from harm.
Angulf remained silent, as Wisteryon kept talking.
"By the way, some of you have shown me some personality... but none has shown me true skills..." as he said this, Zek started to rise on the air. He was thrown against a wall, and he was like attached to it, and couldn't move.
"Mark my words, warriors, you'll need more than words to recover this artifact. You will have to work together, and yes, many will die..." as he kept talking, Zek was thrown to another wall, and then, to the floor, where he still couldn't move.
"The last information I got about the sheet, was that the Lullaby was last seen on the Mountains of Herdul, at the far North. To reach that place, you'll have to cross the Valley of the Mourners, where many undead seem to joy with the meat of the living. Make sure you have more than a sharp tongue to reach that place..." as he said this, Wisteryon released Zek from the spell.
Angulf was a bit surprised by the wizard's power.
After saying "Good luck", Wisteryon dissappeared from the room, and many guards appeared.
"The feast is over! Get out of the castle!" they said, and practcally kicked the adventurers out. The journey was about to begin.
After the noise and trouble, Angulf reached Zek, who seemed maddened by the wizard, and said: "Hey, no big deal, I've had my problems as a performer as well. We started with the left foot, aye? Mine name is Angulf, and some call me the Horrid, can you tell why?" after saying that, he amde a weird laugh. After he finished laughing at his own joke, Angulf said: "But then, mighty warrior, who might you be?"

Zek looked down at his small companion.
Zek: You know, you talk too much for your own good. But as it seems, we will have to get to know each other. My name is Ezekiel. They called me Ezekiel the strong back in my days in the army. Got the knick name from lifting a large boulder out of a passage when my troop got stuck in a cave overnight. Some goblins tried to trap us within their dwellings.
Angulf looked at Zek with a bit of surprise, and then proceeded to greet the other travelers. Zek turned and looked at the other travelers.
Zek: I think that we should all stop at the shops before we go. I need to stock up on some groceries and some horse feed. All agreed that we meet back here say, 11:00?
The others looked to each other and agreed.
Zek to himself: Good, that'll give me a head start to the mountains...

Antheus didn't believe a word of what Zek said. "Why should I believe a convict?!"
He looked at the others.
"Look, I think that he is going to go for himself, to try to beat us. I'm not dumb enough to try it alone, the mountains seem to be dangerous. We should stick together and depart inmediatly, without waiting. I have all the equipment I need, what about you?"

"This rusty dagger o'mine and this mandolin for boring times is all that Angulf, the Horrid, the famous performer, need for a journey such as this!"
Antheus stared to the crowd, and met this short, ugly looking man, who was laughing loudly, and acting like some weird bufoon.
"My, we have a stressed looking wizard over here!" said Angulf to Antheus. "The name is Angulf, in case you didn't hear. My performances have traveled through both the Empire and now the Kingdom of Arghol. I'm no fool to go to those bloody mountains alone, and I might need some assistance. What do you say? Partners?"
Angulf enjoyed the team work. "It's boring to travel alone... Who will hear my mighty adventures?!" he said again to Antheus.
