Battle Charaset Trouble

I keep getting invalid colour depth with my Cactuar BattleChar Set that I've been working on every time I try to import it! If someone could help me figure out how to get it to the right 'colour depth' I would appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

Go to MS paint and save the image as a 256 color image (8-bit). Then import it using the Rm2k importer.

MS Paint distorts the colors horribly if you use that to save it as 256-colors. Instead, you might want to download
Ultimate Paint
and use that instead. It will keep the colors you use instead of using preset colors and then choosing the closest ones like MS Paint does.
