Rise of the Third Power

Well, I promised that if I ever had to put this game on hiatus, I'd release what I had, so here we go.
The second half of the game is pretty much untested (though, honestly, I don't think there will be too many errors found), but you've been warned! The second half is also unfinished and most of the battles for that part don't actually work yet, but you can play through it just to see how the story unfolds.
This game is PROBABLY about 5 or 6 hours long, but I'm totally guessing on that. The first, tested half of the demo is around 4 hours and had I finished everything properly, this would definitely be nearing 8. Just to put things in perspective.
I won't reveal much of the story here, but it's a political story with lots of betrayal and plot twists. So hopefully you'll all like it! I'm sure many of you will be put off because "It's not Ara Fell", but in my opinion, it's a far superior game to it. It's better written, the characters are developed better and the gameplay is a huge step up frm AF. It may not be on floating islands, but I think if you can just look past that, you'll like it better.
Some of the things I spent a lot of time on were the battle system and improved dialogue, both from NPCs and between the main characters. I've tried to add a lot of jokes and light-heartedness between the serious moments, which hopefully comes off well and makes things more interesting.
ALSO! There was going to be a helpfile included with the game, but I never got around to actually making it. If you have questions, just ask them and I'll be happy to help.
Here's the trailer...

I've uploaded two versions. One with Mp3 and one with midi.

<--- Mp3 Version

<--- Midi Version
I STRONGLY reccommend the mp3 version. I spent a lot of time agonizing over the soundtrack in that one. The midis are just there so people on dial up, or impatient people =P can still play it. If you can spend the time waiting for a 60 meg download to finish, I really think it's worth it.
Anyway! If you find bugs, please PM them to me. I can't garuntee I'll get around to fixing them while the game is on hiatus, though. All other comments and criticizm is welcome, though. Have fun!

I've got Broadband now so I gave this a shot earlier.
It was kinda boring...don't take it as an insult or anything. It just wasn't my kind of game. I think it needs pacing. Once I got into the sewer, it started to lag on my computer too, so that might have affected it.
I will say this, your battle animations are fantasic, and the mapping was alrighty. The facesets were the only thing that bothered me.
All in all, I hope you finish this.
Edit: One more thing, I played the MP3 version. It could use a few more sound effects in my opinion.

My pokemon bring all the nerds to the yard, and they're like you wanna trade cards? Darn right, I wanna trade cards, I could trade this, but not my charizard.

Faces bother me too.
I only watched the video though. Nice animations and cool battle backgrounds. I would try it if it wern't for the fact that your DBS battles look like everyone elses battle, a few edits here and there and that's it.
