Black Veil

Alright, fair warning, this game is underdeveloped. I'm working on it. It's one of the smaller projects.
-- Backstory --
The world of Veil is coated in a heavy mist, strangely called, the Black Veil. This mist kills all who step near it, and continues to rise at a slow rate. This mist would have already destroyed Veil if not for the Valkyrie, priestesses who sacrifice themselves to hold back the evil clouds. Once their duty has been fulfilled, the next generation of Valkyrie follow their path in hopes of one day ending the existence of the Black Veil. Very little of the land remains. Fenrir Hill, Jotun, and Midgard are the only pieces of land that remain out of reach of the mist. Water, due to the fact that the ocean is thought to have been pulled underground by the Black Veil, is extracted from mines. According to this Theory, the Black Veil and the oceans' positions were reversed.
-- Classes --
Odiin : A standard fighting rank. Odiin wield bladed weapons, such as spears, axes and swords. Clyde Derris, the main character, is such a battle unit.
Loke : A stealth based rank in charge of assassinations and other jobs that require subtlety. Loke use small bladed weapons such as daggers, smaller swords, and kunai. Kain Scant, a playable character, is a Loke.
Valkyrie : Valkyrie are battle priests who bear the painful birthright of dispelling small amounts of the Black Veil. They wield staves, spears, small swords and bows. Valkyrie bear the ability to support, destroy soulless easilly, and heal. They are easilly slain. Yumi Harra, a playable character, is a Valkyrie.
Mage : Basic battle class who wield the power of the elements to destroy beast and man alike. They are often employed as generals and guards, but often partner with a Valkyrie for their balance of power. There are no main playable characters who are mages, so such a character must be hired.
Einharjar : Fallen Loke or Odiin who are called from the dead in the form of spirits to protect and kill in the name of their caller Valkyrie. Much weaker than originally when in life, Einharjar are usually bound to a Valkyrie upon first calling in a group of two or three.
-- Races --
Mortal : The dominant species of Veil, mortal bear dark or light skin, and usually stand at adulthood at five to six feet. Mortal are a balance of power and intelligence.
Elves : A demonic subspecies of mortal. They are immuned to the power of the Black Veil, and make their homes in the caves of it's barren valleys. They die when exposed to clear air for too long. They bear long horns instead of ears, and stand at eight to ten feet at adulthood, having two to four arms, with oily black, red, or olive skin.
Beast : The basic species of monster, broken further down into Fiend, most demonic creatures, like chimera; Dragon, the most powerful and rare species of Veil; and Ghoul, a nightmarish subspecies consisting of the subterrainean demons of Veil.
Arcane : Ghostly, powerful creatures that resemble mortal, but potrude large bird wings from the back, and stand at four and a half to six and a half feet at adulthood.
-- Gameplay --
The basic project planned to be a first person RPG, similar to Eye of the Beholder or Might and Magic, however, more leaning toward similarities with Might and Magic, since it has several optional quests. The game is planned to have random encounters, replacing wandering monsters found in most classic first person games. No promises are being made, and no screenshots can be given at this time. There will be no timelimit to how long you can play, the Black Veil stays in place during the game.
That's all for now, will be updated later.

Made with RPGmaker. And the Valkyrie are...come to think of it, somewhat similar, but it is just coincidence, I assure you that. Pretty much everything I need with graphics is set up though, 'cept monsters.
I'm still debating to find an old dungeon crawlers and get to ripping or make my own.
A side note, the maps will be screenshots from areas of Might and Magic 6, but completely redone (As in, the gate of Goblin Watch being the new Fenrir Castle). I assure you, the maps will be if anything, remixed, not ripped off from might and magic.
Anyone willing to help me with graphics, please say so now before I decide how I will provide monster graphics.
Thank you.

Good news. a few days ago I finished MM6 so I can probably clear out most places (not counting control center, I am not making the same mistake they did and making a futuristic fantasy setting >>) Anyways, that means that more Panorama will be added, sooner as soon as I draw together how the places look. wish me luck as I go back to "work" on the game.

Things have changed, I've moved on to bigger, better programs. No, I'm NOT quitting RPGmaker, no I'm not abandoning this game. Might and Magic as a source, has been dropped, and I'm moving on to using blender. Dungeon Crawl, is nixxed and replaced with a more puzzle style "point and click" gameplay.
This project is also pretty low on my priorities of my current three, and is planned to be a smaller one. It's planned to be five to ten hours, gameplay.
Battle is also changed to be reminiscent of early strategy games mixed with RPG elements. During an encounter, the players' units will appear on any where from a six by six field, to a twelve (plus) field. Upon attack, a window will open, for extra feel to the game, and will show a still graphic of the monster or character (based on who attacked) and will show the animation for the weapon or spell.

Blender looks a little hard for me. I personally prefer Google Sketchup and 3D Max. Good luck to you. I'd be very impressed if you manage to come with something, especially for someone your age.

People are annoying in that, in my eyes, they go waayy too much on age. Age, to some extent, if you really pay any attention, doesn't matter for crap.
And I'll look into 3D max and the other one you said, if I like either of them more, I'm, again, trading to bigger, better programs
