Since the last time i was actually a member of charas, rather than just that guy who logs in every 6 months, i was working on my newest game "Demon Slayers", and when I left charas it was about 12% done. Which, then, was a lot because I meant to make it a short game. Now, it is still only 12% done, but that 12$ means a hell of a lot more because even though I left charas, I have never stopped working on that game, adding things here and there. It is now planned on being a fairly long rm2k game. With over 12 characters (6 main, 6 secondary) and a unique-ish and original-ish storyline. The reason why I never posted it before was because I planned on doing it all myself with help only from internet resources and such, and, to be honest, I never thought i'd finish it, as I have posted 4 other games on charas that I got people excited about, but never went through with (Broken Blade, Hell's Legion, Metal Gear Solid 3: Metal Gear Raven [At teh time there was no MGS3], and that other game I can't remember even though Kijuki_Magazaki made a sweet title for it).

Anyway, I can assure you, this game i WILL finish. Maybe not any time soon, but it will be finished. Anyways, here is a short description on the storyline...

It's the year blah blah (medieval-ish) and some scientist/alchemist has released a small portal to hell. When this portal was opened, demons from hell began swarming out and killing everything they could see. Eventually, an organization was formed to slay these demons, this organization was aptly named "Demon Slayers". Anyways, it's almost a century after this event and the demons are now fighting for there rights to live on earth liek every other species of higher intelligence. Accepted by some, rejected by many, the demons try to live among the humans, elves, kobolds, dwarves, exc... but there is a problem... the Demon Slayers organization is still formed with it's anit-demon prejudice still growing strong. The Council (Sort of the presidents or kings of the land) has hired an unkown organization and sent it's own army, to try to disban the Demon Slayers, as the Council beleive it is the Demon's right to be as equal as everything else, despite being from hell and presumed "naturally evil". But what are the Council's real intentions... ??

You play as a man named Kraze, who is new to the Demon Slayers. He grew up being told the demons are evil, yadda yadda.

As a future to be (hopefully) author/comic book artist I take pride in my storylines of my games, especially this one (Despite being a lot like a melting pot of Doom 3, X-Men, and various US History situations).

Now, for your part in my game...
I need some resources of which I am scarce of and cannot find anywhere (including charas glorius "complete resource" section).
1) I need (and this is probally the most important one) good and unique monsters, preferably demon-like, especially some imps.

2) I need some kick-*** battle animations of special attacks that are also unique (this can be anything, i'll make it work)

3) I need a good Title and GO screen. I have a title and GO screen already, but the Title consists of the characters' face sets and cheesy letters with blood dripping from them, made in MS Paint (ugh) and my GO is a well known pic you can find in the complete resources, just search "battlefield" under GO, not that it is a bad GO, I just want something more... unique to my game.

If you help, I will give credit, and screen shots of my game will be posted within the week. I would LOVE to give a short demo of my game, but alas, I do not know how.

Anyway, thank you for reading all of this, I know we are all busy, and nobody likes threads that are too long, so I know that you must find this interesting in some meaning, so that makes me happy to know this game dosn't seem completely bland. Thank you.

BTW: This does not mean I am "back" to charas, as I have posted many "I'm back" threads in the welcome boards which have never come true, but I will say that I will be logging on a lot more often than just once every 6 months from now one.

At first I thought the storyline was pure, non-ordinary crap.But the the demons wnat to be like other normal races" thing turned me on.I would like to see it finished, though I think asking us for so much things is a little.. lame, becouse as a "future comic book artist" I think you should make as much as possible custom graphics by yoursef.

LOL...I thought that was funny.

Anywho, this looks to be alright. If you want complex animations and special attacks, then Tales of Sprites are the way to go...but they're also greatly overused.

Sounds like it could be good... As always, I'm more interested in the characters though. Can you post something 'bout them?
