rpg maker 2k3 monster battle chara set

ive been trying to make a game where the monsters are the main characters. the problem is there is no battle characters for the monsters of rpg maker 2k3. can someone tell me where i can find some?

I guess you'd have to either look in our complete resources after a fitting battle charset. Or search other sites...
After that; use our Battlechar generator in an attempt to get a good-looking monster. If it doesn't work then:
Search for sprites on sites such as The Spriters Resource(great site).
And if none of those works: Just ask us kindly to do it for you.

There you go, but I'd suggest that you start looking for resources in the Complete resources. http://charas-project.net/resources.php?lang=en

Or start searching the web fore suitable sprites and then post the spritesheet in a topic and make it a request for someone to place the sprites so make a battlecharset.

ok i found 2 that i like but they load as bitmap because thats the only picture file i got to load it as. wat do i need to make it a png file?

What kind of Windows do you have? 2000 or XP? 2000 doesn't like PNG.

Open the battlechar in Microsoft Paint and then click "Save as" and choose PNG instead of BMP in format(Right under what you should name it). If that won't work then post it in this thread and I can fix it for you.

ok that info made them a png image but now another problem's up. they're not showing up on the battle chara list in rpg maker (and just so i can give full info that this is a problem the files are in the BattleCharSet folder).

Yes, now you'll have to go to the Animation 2 tab in the maker and choose what animation is for what thing in the game.
And it will appear under "battlechars" to choose from when that is done and you've named it .
