Naturally, I couldn't accept it, going against either the forum rules or my ethics. I would simply compromise and try to end with the best result possible for both the member and the forum. If the member, however, could not cooperate, I would be forced to ignore them completely.

What kind of lucrative bribe? Like, cookies? I like cookie-- wait. Not good answer. If it was against forum rules, I'd report it unless it were outside the forum. If it was against my ethics, I'd tell them so, and if further pressured, send an army of squirrels after them. What other logical option is there?

Forum Gaming is Nuked, and all sources point to a good friend within the forums. In having a position of quasi Authority, how do you Handle this?

If possible, rehabilitate the forum and lay a heavy consequence on the offender-- perhaps a permaban on vanilla coke.
