What game is this?

Hey.  I made a topic awhile ago about a game I remember playing that turned out to be A Blurred Line.  I have a couple other games I want to tell you about to see if anyone knows the names of them.  

1. This game started out that some cool guy was walking through the forest or something and its raining and storming, and he finds this little girl - probably 3 or 4 yrs old, holding a baby.  He takes them in and lets them live with him and over the years he teaches them things like fighting, etc.  I think there is a certain name for the skills he's teaching them.  Finally once the girl is like....a pre-teen or something, and the brother is a kid, he lets them go out on there own since he thinks they are old enough.  I stopped the game there.

2. This game, you were a pirate..  I dont remember if you're a boy or girl, but you're a pirate...or, if not, maybe you just live on the pirate ship.  Anyway, one day you go in the back room and find a small hole in the boat and find that a snake crawled through.  So thats the first battle - a snake.  Then, the next day or something you're on land, and you go in the forest, and you have to trap this guy, a theif or something.  Then after that you walk around in the forest like normal to train, etc.

3. This game, I remember it wasn't as focused on gameplay, is was more story focused.  There was gameplay/battles, but you didnt need to train much, and getting potions and stuff was easy.  I even remember on the site, the creator said he wanted to focus more on story than gameplay.  Anyway, you have to go out into a dungeon to find something...and anyway you come back and the village (i dont know if its your village) is on fire.  So you leave to go find something or do something...and anyway you take a boat to another town, and its this really big, fancy, populated town.  And the characters are like "Wow, this town is amazing!"  And there is a bunch of stuff to do.  And, I think something happens and you have to go to the sides of the town and look for something.

Oh, sorry, I didn't realize I posted it twice.  I thought you were talking about the other topic with the same title but a different question.  Sorry, how do I delete the other one?

Hm, I'mma kick this topic, but I have a possible answer.  Is it at all possible the game is Three The Hard Way?  I never played it myself but it's worth a try.
