New forum theme up and running!
See, that's all I really want from DragonForce. More of the same, because it's still good to hear. Like a drug addiction: You're still getting the same **** flowing through your veins, but you never tire of it.
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan I missed you.
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan I missed that welcome.
If you like Rammstein, try OOMPH!. They're pretty much the band Rammstein tried to rip off. Maybe Eisbrecher if you wanna try it. Dethklok is a good idea.Or you could just do a 180 and listen to some good old rock like the Dire Straits, the Who, or Led Zeppelin if you wanna be cool. There's nothing wrong with rap so long as you stick to before '92. Run DMC, LL Cool J, Bill Bev and Devoe, etc. Then like Lonewolf said, Drum and Bass is good, although a lot of it ends up sounding the same, so I'd advise if you look into it to grab Hold Your Colour by Pendulum. Make sure to get the special version though, because Blood Sugar is only on the basic album.
Oomph released their first album in 2006. Rammstein launched their first album in america in the 90's. If anything, Oomph! fashions their music after Rammstein.
What? OOMPH! released their self-titled album in 1992, Rammstein didn't release Herzeleid until 96. Where exactly are you getting your information? GlaubeLiebeTod was in 06, and that was a slick album too. OOMPH! was one of the original Neue Deutche Harte bands and had 3 albums before Rammstein did.
There's a lot of bands out there like em. A lot of them are better, considering what Rosenrot was like. Try Eisbrecher or Jochaim Witt.
I was misinformed by bearshare rofl. I started to notice after looking up both bands on wiki sites that I was wrong in my statement. It's odd that I never heard about these guys before rammstein though. Either way, it's good to know there is more music like that.
EDIT: On the Cyanide subject, that heavy bass is just massive. Awesome, Trujillo is just awesome (and please, spare me the "He uses shorts" and the "He looks like a gorilla" noobish-music-comments, pretty please...Jason's face was a Metallica face, but he was a mediocre bassist...just check this, this was amazing as ****: http://metallica.awardspace.com/inter8.html). And the riffs are amazing too.
