Personally, I'm confused as to where Charas wants to go as a whole. We've got some saying "NOT ENUFF ROOLZ TOO MUCH SPAM" and the other going on about "RAH I MISS UNMOD AND U R CRAMIN' MAH STYLE", and no matter which direction the mods go, someone takes every tiny change as a monumental blow. There has to be a happy medium between the two ideals, and yeah, some elements are going to annoy some people. But really, that's what compromise is, and compromise is essential to a healthy community of any kind, virtual or otherwise.

Gah, I hate charas politics. As far as I see it, what the mods are doing is just fine. And as far I'm concerned, if a thread goes off topic a little bit, whatever, I agree with Rev. And honestly? I don't think I've seen any prime example of a current mod locking or deleting a topic for an innocent little topic change within the past few months. If anything, I've seen mods join in the conversation.
