I dont care how many gay friends you have. I dont care what you mean when you use the word. I use the word too. I know a gay or two as well. But its just shoddy diction. Meaning....this stuff isnt funny anymore...its like watching the same episode of beavis and butthead over and over. It was once funny...now its just old. What started as a fun contest ended up as a poorly disgused video log to increase traffic to your youtube channel and consequentially your other convoluted projects....when you arent busy shutting them all down bi-annually for whatever reason.


Just saying dude.... this stuff aint funny anymore. Its honestly embarassing. I watch one every 3 months or soin case you for some reason decided it was going back to the earlier days when this was fun to watch and follow. Im usually left wanting though. I wont post here anymore...unless for some reason this stops sucking.

*shrug* I've been tempted to close down shop.  I've also been considering just moving away from charas and starting up my own forums for this.  I know a lot of people would probably freak out though. But maybe I'm wrong?  

Let's face it. This thread has gained charas a lot of population, yet you don't even acknowledge that fact nor has anybody even presented me with any kind of reward for getting people on here and keeping the place alive to the best of my ability. What if I was gone? What if all those fans were gone? How many people would charas lose right now if I never existed? If anything, Gemini. I've been keeping the place a little busy and I'm sure you guys have been getting more traffic with your google ads.  So, I've been making this forum money for a long time now.

Whether you think my **** is funny or not, there is a lot of people who enjoy it. So that's why I haven't removed every video on there including yours and deleted my youtube account. I never wanted to be popular. I did this **** for a joke and for fun. People made me that way. I'm not even all that popular anyway. I'm a joke compared to some people on youtube with their 10,000+ subscribers. Also, have you seen (SUBSCRIBE) on my channel?  Not one ****ing time because I'm not a sub whore.

Yeah, well. He's one of the main guys here. He basically said pack my bags and gtfo.  Insulted the fact my game projects slow down sometimes because **** comes up in my life that I can't help.. I mean **** man. I wish I was as perfect as you Ben.

Okay, after forcefully restraining myself by deleting really long rant-ish posts instead of actually posting them, I have a couple very short things to say,

1) Gem, if you don't like the videos, leave him alone and abscond from the thread. But you seem to be already doing that, so that's good.

2) Drak, off the ego. I don't want you to leave. I don't think anyone legitimately wants you to leave. But we're not going to beg you to stay and shower you with gifts that don't even exist in the first place to keep you. Do you really think anyone gets rewards around here? Do what you do, do it well, do it because you enjoy it, and do it for those reasons alone. Don't do it expecting to see some money in the mail or something. It ain't comin'. None of us make any money off this anyway. Now, if you want to discuss practical and reasonable plans to increase Charas visibility and what you think you deserve for what you're doing, I'm listening. Send me a PM. But know that I'm skeptical of the whole concept actually bringing people to the site that do more than comment on your videos and post in this topic.

3) Ben's saying his piece isn't any reason for anyone else to be throwing insults around. That stops right here and now. Nobody insults my staff. Insult me, call me names, question my gender, whatever floats your boat. But not the rest of the staff. They do damn fine work keeping this place running with only the slimmest bit of tools and support. I'm not going to let things degenerate into name calling of them.

#2   I know I can get a little edgy about ****. I'm really defensive when I put in god only knows how many hours into these videos. 250 x 5 to minutes each video. That's a lot of stuff. Also, I know the fans put a lot into them as well creating them.

#3   Humor comes in different colors. Some people don't find things funny that others do. I personally love chaos and it's greatly humorous to me. These games for the most part are full of chaos. You really have to appreciate that to enjoy them or the raunchy things I say.

#4  The winners of the contest are Final Fantasy 7 first place from FFL2&3ROCKS.  Second place goes to Zuhane's Gulpy Gulpy and 3rd place goes to Jacob's cliche quest.

I might as well say this while I'm here, I won't speak for gem, but I'm pretty sure we had the same idea. What I was saying is that maybe you could try something new with the Crappy Game Reviews. I think the problem is that all the games you get are exactly the same. It's just that it's predictable now. Predictable isn't fun or funny.

Maybe ask people to make a different kind of crappy game. I have no idea what that is or what it would be. Just an idea.

Perhaps the silly-but-not-complete-**** game contest?  Because I'll also admit the reviews don't seem as funny as before.  There used to be standards, I guess.  Look at Ketchup, FF7, Sexy Chimps... all those good ol' games (and a few since then).  It was a whole different style.  The reviews aren't as funny because there's no content to review in the first place.  You really have to stretch to say something amusing other than "THIS GUY HAS DOWNS" (everyone speaks the same in these damn games now) or "This battle is taking FOREVER" (all the battles take way too long).

Goddamn, I sound like an old man talking about how the snow used to be whiter.  Sorry about the short rant.

Like some of the people above said.
The problem isn't really your videos. It's more that some people don't try to make a playable game, they just do something to piss you off. And reviewing a game that isn't even valid to be a game is kinda hard. There was some quality in the games to begin with and the reviews were great.
Then came the more random games like the Sexy chimps. You still managed to pull that of with an A.
But lately there is pure randomness and less attempts at crappy and more on ***.

Maybe some new rules on the submitted games will steer things up in the right direction again?
