Crappy Game Reviews: 2011 - Please read!

I'm still contemplating on the reviews. When people tell me things aren't funny anymore it gets the spirit down to even step on mic again. When you do things like this and gain popularity through-out the entire world of rpg maker gamers, you get recognized as a comic icon, a hero or even some guy who has too much time on his hands. Though, the trolls will simply use envy as their weapon.

What this says is these people who sit around and slam the videos, my commentary, the games or anything else are simply doing it out of spite. The fact here is people are starting to hate me. They hate me because they want the light shining down on them. They want the fans sending e-mails and making memes out of them. They want to have the power to get on there and post stuff and get help from their fans, to talk to their fans and feel like they have somebody behind them. What's preventing any of you to getting to this stage of life? I simply came up with a simple idea (which I basically was inspired by megadeth on youtube) and made into my own thing. I got a cheap *** download of a 5 minute max capture video and I crappy mic and I made some videos.  

Do you hate what I say in them? Do you know I'm just being myself in these for the most part? Do you know I have never just sat down for hours and made a script to these videos?  I download your games, I get on the mic and I review it as I see it. When you say it's not funny, it's the same stuff, etc, etc, etc.. Well, that's because I don't really change my persona. I know who I am. Do you know who you are? Can these trolls actually claim they could do better with free-style reviews? Would they be able to say different things in each video while being themselves?

For the fact I have not sub-whored on my channel.. AKA (Please subscribe!) at the end of every video you see on most of these youtube channels, it shows I'm not here for the subs. I do this for fun. That should be proof enough I never wanted to be some review-star on youtube for the minority of gamers which is the rpg maker club.

Nothing is preventing any of you to do what I do. I've played some of Ben's games he made. I found them to be pretty awesome. I'm sure people envy his artistic ways, his game designs etc.  Do I envy you Ben, or have I ever slammed your productions?  No. Because I know who I am and I know you're doing your best. Being a good person in this world is to just try and get somewhere in it. If you sit around and hate all the people who have gained attention you will never get anywhere in life. Go out there, make something of yourselves. Believe in your selves.

You're taking this way out of context. I never said I hated you and neither did anyone else. It's called criticism. We get you put a lot of work into this. You do it 'cuz you like it. ALL OF US HERE, do **** we love that takes a lot of our personal time and energy. We understand that. But to say we're trolling you or even that we envy you? I don't even know what to say to that. I like your videos, Drak. I was merely saying they're getting stale. What the **** is so hard to accept about that?

And don't respond to that if you're just going to continue to whine. 'Cuz I really don't care to read the pity posts anymore. I don't think anyone ever meant to slight you and if they did, they didn't mean it.

It's a never ending process that I and many other entertainers around the globe have to deal with.  I personally don't want to be at this stage anymore. When you're doing this crap dude.. You miss being that guy who could just get on a forum and nobody knows who you are. My post had truth in it. There is many people who don't know who they are so they bash, bash, and bash some more every little ****ing thing in life.

What do I do about it though? Drak, I really do think you're overreacting. Only one person (maybe two people?) has expressed criticism. Nobody hates you.

But, if you feel that you're getting tired, you want to finish, or leave the forum, or something like that, I'd be happy to continue in your stead if you want me to. But I don't think I'd ever be able to match up. You've done a great job.

An award for being me and how awesome you feel that I think of myself? When I mentioned a reward I was being real and honest to the point I've helped bring in a lot of new blood to charas. Did you all know I never went to another rpg maker forum and posted crappy game reviews? I left it as a special little snow flake for charas exclusively. In my videos, I even mention the people over here are cool and work their asses off to keep the place going.  I've in all honesty done nothing but represent the place. You can't blame a guy who has done charity work for your forum to ask for a little credit.

This award is a mockery to what I said. If you wanted to represent me with something worth a damn think around the lines of new blood and how dedicated I've been to the charas forum for many years now.  Yeah, I might not have 5000+ posts or sit here and reply to every little thread, but I have been there for people every now and then. I don't mean to be selfish or come off that way. How could a selfish guy support a forum who hardly recognized him anyway?  When I got on here I was an absolute nobody but I've loved the resources and work that's been put into this site to create good rm2k3 rpg's so I decided I would do something in my own power to give it a little bit more popularity. Overall, the **** I did to get people on here was embarrassing. Getting on mic in front of hundreds of people to show off peoples games. It's not as easy as some of you think it might be.

I read numerous posts back in the day of.  "Charas is not really that popular like other forums.. you can't get a reply right away etc, etc, etc." Look at it now though, this place is lively, threads get replied to easier and faster.. Many of the names I see around here were brought here by my channel on youtube.  Overall, my goal was successful. I did this for you.

Now that I'm being mocked it's time to re-think my loyalties.

This has got me really stressed out now...  I feel instead of it being a fun thread anymore it's loaded with politics and bullshit. Did I bring this upon myself? Not really. I didn't say anything at all but people started slamming the videos, me and everything else saying the whole damn thing is just suck now. Tell me in your enlightened vision how the videos or myself could personally entertain you. What would I need to change oh mighty trolls. Yeah, it's a couple opinions.. This isn't speaking for the other people.  I should let it roll off my shoulder and just continue being me.

Lift my middle finger straight up at the haters and proceed right? It's easy to become this sensitive to certain things you put a lot of time into.. In the end it's just the internet, after all, right? Nobody can have their feelings hurt on here, right? I make a challenge to all of you reading this.  Get your own youtube channel started and do these reviews. Tell me when somebody starts to slam you if you can let it roll off as easy as you tell me. Tell me that trolls don't eventually make you want to fall on your face. Avnas, Marky, I respect the hell of you two for trying.

I'd say this thread should stick to what it is about... Crappy game reviews and that stuff.


Worst case scenario is that I personally lock this thread until Drak wants it reopened 'cuz there's no point that this is what the thread is being cluttered with.

If that's the true case and I took the award out of context, I apologize. Thanks for clearing that up, Purple. Since I was here in 07, you have always been there to help me, dude. I don't mean to come off so hostile towards the entire charas project or staff. I like a lot of you guys, I really do. A lot of memories here.
