Kingdom Hearts EX spinoff (working title)

okay! except for a few still-testing features, i've got the project back into pre-crash order. with finals looming, though, i won't have a ton of time this week to work on it, and i will likely be pretty busy through most of the holidays. BUT i will work on it whenever i get a chance. i'm still taking world, character, and limit/drive requests, so any input is appreciated.

of course! Lash and Hawke will both be major characters, and Andy and Hawke will (I hope) be playable. Plus, all of the major CO's will make appearances. I'd also like a ripped image of a map from Dual Strike to use as a world map, but that one'll be tricky...

How can the world map from AW DS be hard to find? I bet you could find it easily or just get a ROM.

I'm actually interested in this, just skip Sonic and I'll like it.

i've got quite a few plans for the holidays, so i'll work when i can, but i doubtr i'll get a ton done over the next couple of weeks.

as for sonic, i did have a few ideas for some interesting tag limits, but i'll base whether i use the franchise or not on how many people do/don't want it included.

i also hope to include MGS, with Snake as a playable character (Old or Solid, either one) and MAYBE Big Boss and/or Raiden. I want to use Boss as well, but i doubt i'll find much in that department. (surprisingly, there aren't a ton of MGS battlecharas...)

The Chrono series will play a big part, as well as final fantasy (duh) and maybe Grandia too. Some more universes i'd like to include (feel free to share your opinion on anything you think should or should not be included):
-Grandia (either 2 or 3)
-Advance Wars (one of my fav game series; love the chars)
-Naruto
-FMA
-Kingdom Hearts (obviously)
-Tenchu (great chars and story)
-Metal Gear Solid
-Pokemon (i have a few interesting plot elements based on this one, BH-TR alliance anyone?)
-Inuyasha (Inuyasha's Wind Scar + Cloud's Blade Beam = dead everything)
-Chrono Series (Trigger + Cross)
-more to come

I'm back.

2k isn't as good. I decided I'm just going to not use battlers in 2k3. I'll make it work.

Basically, i need input for this game. i have plenty of ideas, but i have just as many, if not more, questions on what i should/shouldn't do to make this appeal to as many people as possible. expect many questions as i work on this project, and please feel free to offer any advice or suggestions. now, for my first question...

one of my big ideas at this point is dynamic game-overs; the game over effect should vary. as for how it varies, should it vary based on:
1:the world the party falls in, or
2:the last character in the party to die.
3:any other suggestions you might have!

I am trying to do the best i can solo, but it is inevitable that i will need help. i can settle for as-necessary requests down the line, but i may consider trying to put a team together; my biggest fear here is that there won't be enough interest.

without the battlecharas, i'll likely skip sonic. depending on how well this goes over, i might (read: MIGHT) make a 2k3 port with battlers when this version is done.

this is tricky, deciding what to include and what not to include. i wanted to include anime, but if a lot of people don't want it, i guess ill just have to skip it. i suppose i can make two versions, one with anime and one without, but that will take a lot of time.
then again, i dont exactly have an action-packed schedule, so i might be able to pull it off...

ill leave it up to the rest of you. this IS a fan-game after all...

your kingdom hearts game sounds really fun but you kind of lost this may sound stupid is it 2003? or 2000 cause if its 2003 i can help with resources if you like like gameovers battlesets and such

I don't hate anime, but everybody uses it in thier KH fangame, so it does get very anoying to see it over and over again. If it were me i'd be using things like Star Wars, Transformers, indiana Jones and Spiderman. ofcourse I like the idea of live action movies in Kingdom Hearts. You should do what you want to do, that's the whole point of RPG makers.
