I have the 2003 rpg maker for the computer, and would like to know if there is one similar to it but updated and a newer year. Since it will be 2009 soon.

Uh, VX is closer to 2003 than XP was, but there isn't one that is quite the same. (Battle system in VX is more like 2000's)
