Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that a "post-nuclear" game is a post apocalyptic.
After all, the apocalypse is the world saying "bye bye" of its former self.

I figure if there's no good chipsets for it, I could make a fancy one and have the game be distinctly Charas. I'm working on my own chip now, but I can put that on hold for the good of the chaingame.

Plus, I like the idea of characters with goggles on their heads not looking out of place.

Okay, I'm starting on a Steampunk chipset, so nobody vote for anything else. If you do, I'll have to borrow a page from Prettyboy's playbook and cut you.

My one and only source of Steampunk is the Girl Genius webcomic, which is pretty much my favorite webcomic ever.

Why can't we combine ideas though? Steampunk + Charas game! Sai'Kar running around with goggles on her head and shooting light energy from an oversized backpack? Come on, it'd be fun. Even people too lazy to participate in the chain game could make steampunk versions of themselves.

not to mention a well played "STEAMPUNK AVATAR WEEK" would help with resources.
Many victorian style chipsets work well with SP stuff. Western stuff.
Add some engines and fans and steapipes and its golden. People tend to think the style is less approachable then it is.

Hey, guys we don't we do a story like star wars using steam punk? I found tons of images online.

We could fill up the origianl cast with our own members or make up new ones. Good idea or bad idea?

Feels kinda lazy to copy starwars but replacing the people.

And Sai is correct, we can of course mix two of the ideas into one.
Making a steampunk game with us members as charcters would work pretty well I think. Add leather and goggles, coats and monocles. It's done.
No idea what to do with magic users though.

But Gem is right of course. Victorian style chipset works. In fact, you can use castles and such. Only if you add some gears and cogs. Makes it work.
Actually, someone should do some steampipes, cogs and engines to charset that we can reuse on the maps so we don't have to make/edit so many chipsets.
