Eh.  I get the feeling I'm the only one who's actually looking forward to this.  Couldn't be any worse than the original, that's certain.  My advice would be to aim low and make it short.  That way there's no pressure to finish it.  Good luck and all else.

I know how you can make the game actually good. Picture it opening screen flashing lights as you zoom in on Squall and Zell. Zell walks up to Squall and bursts out "Hey Squall! Let's go on an adventure!" Squall quickly replies "Hell no!" He then strikes Zell down to the ground with a mighty slap. Then fade to black.

You think so?  Believe me, I've played a fair amount of nearly all of the Final Fantasies, finished quite a few of them, too.  I can say with absolute resolve that the series is near-uncontested rubbish. :P

Yeah I think it's time it died. Look, Supasora, when you make game thread, you need to be serious about it. Not trying to bust your balls or nothing, just next time, plan out a simple back story. If you have trouble, well that's why you make freinds here on charas. Warped wouldn't be as good as it is, without my freindships with Lonewolf, Muraiko, Jet and many others. Now if you want to make a game with no sotry and random characters try the Crapy Game Reveiw thread.

Who said it would have no story or characters. And since this is my test game I do have to try otherwise I wont learn anything. Im just not going to even going to try and make it like an epic Final Fantasy. It problably be a gaiden game with some seirous stuff and comedy and about 5 bosses intill you beat it. If I were to make a complete crap game I'd make catwoman the rpg based on the movie. And since some asked I'll put the original party members in.

double post bump! (Oh Noes!). I have seem crappy new screen shots. I need to find new beds where I can put people in and make them look like they're sleeping. I finally basically figured out the events. If floating gun blades bother you to bad.
