RPG maker 2003 music troubles

I recently put in some music but every time I try to listen to it in the music section it spazzes out and says not implemented and it keeps saying that and saying it and it's popping up so fast it stacks up and then I can't cancel it and I have to open up task manager and shut down RPGmaker 2003. what's the problem?

RPG Maker 2k3 can be buggy like that when playing some mp3s. To solve this open the file in a legit (good) audio editor (I use Audacity) and immediately export the song as an MP3 and upload it to your game. Problem solved.
