new season of dexter!

I love this show. I know a lot of people think the newer seasons suck, but I'm still all about dexter. So anyone see the new episode for season 5? It was pretty bad ***, not gonna lie.

the pilot episode of this season was pretty awesome. There was some good acting, and different pacing to the writing then they noramlly employ this early in a season. This is supposedly the last season of Dexter, and Its gonna have to be pretty intense if its gonna top the climax of season 4

I hope its the last season, I don't see how much longer it could go on. It has that feeling that everything's coming to a head.

I ain't gonna read this since I just finished season 2, but I <3 Dexter, and I will miss Doakes dearly.

this season is based on the last novel Mr Lindsay wrote in the series.[spoiler] He trains Cody and Astor And Young Harrison in Harry's code, bringing up a family of vigilante serial killers. Im thinking for the intents of the show, theyll change it. Cody will be trained in the code. Astor is going to hate on Dex some more.Im betting that in the end, she is going to Kill dexter, or turn him in. Cody continues killing. Youll notice that even in the most recent episode, Cody is at first emotional about hearing of his moms death...hes more mad that somebody has hurt his innocent mother then he is shocked at Ritas death. The funeral Scene shows Cody pretty much stoic and cold at the funeral. Deb is going to catch on to things....Shes going to be codys harry.[/spoiler]

Dont read that spoiler unless you want to know how the series is gonna end. Id like to say that Dexter's writers arent that predicatble, but Mr Lindsay writes at a teenager level. The show is better then the books.

I think the new Futurama eps are "ok". They're not horrible, but they seem to lack the charm of the original run. Still, more Bender is always fun.

I read this on my phone so the spoiler code didn't hide anything for me. I got halfway through before realizing I shouldn't read it. =( *tears*

Oh well, I'm still excited for the new season and kind of expect it to be the last season.

It's cool. Like you said, the show and the book have their differences, so we'll just have to see what happens.
