Needing assistance (admins, move if it doesn't belong here)

I used the battle character generator of Charas, but when I upload it to the game, it shows up all blurry(?) and wrong, anyone knows why this happens?? I re-sized the images to the one required for 2k3 to use also, I used the char set maker off-line and whenever I try to upload some resources the following things either all happen or some do and it messes up the addition:

1-sometimes when I try to save it as a cmr file it unexpectedly closes

2-Sometimes they appear wrong with some un-needed zoom.

3-When I'm about to select the image file it happens like it does when I try to save it *boom instant closure*

I think that about covers the issues with the char set maker. I'll see if I can upload some images so that you can see exactly what's wrong with the 'added' ones. I'd rather figure this out myself but I've tried with the char set maker all sorts of ways to correct the problem but all of them end in failure so this is the only place I can really turn to since it's been around for a while. I'd rather not have to write this painfully long problem and I like to be able to use the char set maker off-line since I can't be on-line ALL the time (it's be nice to be able to get some work done while moving around.)

Just gonna ask what version of windows you are using I honestly can't remember the last time the offline generator was updated.

But on the matter of the battlechar generator. When you make them, you get a zoomed version and an "original size version" But as I think you already know regarding what you wrote - you have to split the battlechar into 2 different battlechars.
Now with the problem, you said that your characters appear all blurry or messed up? Did you perhaps save them as JPEG/JPG or GIF? Those file formats have a tendancy to screw up pictures on a minimal scale - a scale that is more than apparent when you're working with something 144x384 small.

Unfortunately there is no way to revert a file that has been saved as JPG to avoid this, one has to do it all over again. BMP or PNG  is the way to go, always.

windows XP home ver, I hate vista and I got no moneyz right now for 7. in the battle character issue, I have to make them twice, one with aura and another without it then or did I miss it entirely?? as for the format they're all PNG so I don't c y they're looking like that

Could you provide us with pictures on how it looks? Might solve the issue.

ok,this is total bull! it shows distorted(?) on my pc but on photobucket it looks perfect...son of a meatbag

Is distorted when it is transparent? Or is it in the preview program , MS paint  or the maker?

Hmm... What about transparacy? Is the picture transparent in the photobucket view or something? Might just be that we can't notice the distortions if the background is in the same colour.

Beside that, I don't know what to do if I can't see how it looks.

1-flawless, how it should look

2-notice the fem body clearly visible on the bg.(same as #3)

3-Notice Vash's coat on the bg, it would appear like that if it was stand alone (ie without the char there, just wanted him there)

4-notice the bg color near the bellybutton area again I don't think this should happen, I', guessing it could also be some color coding errors on my part .

Update on the situation, the problem with bodies have been solved, turns out it was an error on my part, I added more than 1 color for the bodies so it made them f*$%#cky. now let's see if I can fix the issue with the clothes. wish me luck!
