Weird Stuff You Like/Don't Like

Anything weird you like/enjoy? (Not THAT, Lucas)

For me the weird stuff I find enjoyable is flossing my teeth, the smell of hotels and parking garages, picking mud out of horse hooves, naming ugly plants, and the sound of mouse clicks amplified on a microphone.

Weird stuff I hate would be the smell of car air fresheners, new car smell, thinking about the smell of burning plastic, forks scratching on china, the sound that's made by rubbing the carpet with paper towel, thinking about paper cuts between your nail and finger.

I love the smell of Sharpies. I hate the sound of a broom sweeping concrete. I'm sure there's more, but I don't seem to be at full thinking-capacity right now.

I like observing strange tears. Like, if someone were to tear open a plastic wrapper or something and the tear itself follows no pattern and looks like it were designed by Dr. Seuss, I find myself staring at it, just completely blanked out.

I hate the feeling of anything even remotely sharp against something soft, like wool or cloth. I can't even see something like that happening without clenching my teeth.

I just remembered I love the smell of unfinished basement with concrete floors.

I love the smell of any place that once was filled with smoke (like a bar or pool hall), but I despise the fresh scent of smoke. I am with Lucas on the gasoline thing, though.

The smell of new video games, when you remove the plastic wrapping, the manual smells like paper and the cover smells like plastic, you pull out that cd and places it in the drive while eyeing through the manual. That's when you knew that you just got a new game.

I also really really really really really like math homework. But not your average day-to-day compute random stuff math homework. I mean the legit stuff like writing 3-page long proofs of stuff.

I love the smell of gunpowder, kerosene and wood smoke.  I like the smell of tobacco, but I hate how it smells when burned.  Chocolate is nice too.

I hate chihuahuas.  They're too annoying even for me.

I also like the smell of fresh paint. I also like Q-tipping my ears (even though you're not supposed to insert them into your ear canal), going for random drives that often get me lost in the middle of nowhere sans GPS, playing with rubber bands, and making announcements over the intercom at work. I think I just like hearing the sound of my own voice. ...Not that that's obvious at all.

As for things I hate...the sound of metal scraping against anything, the tapping sound of the buttons on my old GBC, certain chord progressions frequently used in pop music (that none of my music-savvy friends seem to notice), the way that the stylus feels when I move it across my tablet, and the texture of the fabric used for my car seats.

I like the smell of anything fresh: freshly cut grass, fresh house construction sites, freshly brushed teeth, freshly laid concrete, freshly opened disk containers (games, movies, CDs).

I also don't care for parties.  Too many people.  Although I will go hang out with large groups of people in a small room.  Maybe I just hate the term "party."

Strangely enough, I hate parties as well. I start to get nervous if I'm in a place with too many people, and I don't drink...which pretty much means that I'd be restricted to designated driving if I went to the parties around here.

I guess I'm weird... because I love parties, drinking, and smoking. Yes, coffee and cigarettes in the morning are amazing to me.

Other weird things I like: absurdly salty foods, sleeping in an unmade bed/sleeping bag, the smell of gas... uhhhh, yeah

Weird things I hate: The smell of cigarette smoke (yes, I'm not even a fan), using a chalkboard, the edges of paper (I'm afraid of them), the texture of some vegetables, like tomatoes, lettuce, squash (love the taste tho)... annd yeah.

Is there anyone who prefers to sleep in a made bed? Sure, it looks pretty, but usually the sheets wind up wrapped around me like a burrito within an hour anyway.

I'll post some of my singing soon, Lucas. I'm much less shy about that. Then I'll probably post some of my drawings...You know, show people the good stuff first. lol
