What exactly are they doing with the thousands and thousands of dollars we pay them?
I've often wondered how hard it would be to just move to another country with free college, become a resident, and take advantage of that. I imagine there's a lot of problems with that plan making it not possible, though.
Strangely enough, I've also considered that possibility. If whichever country I moved to happened to require me to be fluent in another language, I'm sure that I could do it. Foreign languages happen to be one of my greatest strengths. Even after 3-4 years of not speaking it, I still understand French fluently. Speaking it is a bit of a different story. It would probably be kind of broken, but understandable. While I'm well aware that the grass is always greener on the other side, so to speak, I'd really like to get out of the US.
Please don't let your age discourage you from graduating college. Graduating later than 21 or 22 is fairly common nowadays. I'll be 24 when I graduate; my brother also graduated at 24. I have classmates who are in their late 20's.
