Let's be clear: May 21st is the rapture, not -- technically -- the end of the world...although according to the Family Radio nutbag, there will be massive quakes.

October 21st is the end of the world.

Wow, the wikipedia article on the rapture is terrible.
It has about 6^{[citation needed]} full sized paragraphs before the content box, and it's positively riddled with ^{[citation needed]}.

But yeah.
I know that 3% of the worlds population doesn't really qualify for "OMG, everybody is going to die" but still.
End of the world sounds a lot more interesting than "A (relative) handful of people go to heaven, and then five months later everybody dies"
