Ah, i'm improving my skills in making "in-depth" games, and whilst making as many classes as reasonably possible, i found out something OUTRAGEOUSLY AWFUL. JUST AWFUL.
I ran out of ideas for um... "Stealth-based classes" (not that i plan on having any stealth involved, but the category which contains ninja, assassin, thief, etc.)
The problem is, all i have is ninja, assassin, marksman, and thief. With the other categories (melee/magic) containing much more than 4 classes each, i can only come up with 3 for the "stealth" area.
So if anybody could like.. come up with some ideas of some classes and their basic functions to fit in that area, i would be grateful.
Current Classes
Melee-Type
Swordsman (looking for a better name)
Dark Knight
Holy Knight
MagiBlade
Dragoon
Samurai
Monk
Magic-Type
Elementalist (= Black Mage)
Holy Mage (= White Mage)
Summoner
Learner (= Blue Mage, looking for a better name)
Fortifier (= green mage, looking for a better name as well.)
War Mage (accesses high-MP High Damage spells equivalent to Ultima, Break, Flare, etc.)
Devil Mage (Accesses more sinister spells like the Dark-Element spells, and other black-and-red colored spells ;3)
Stealth-Type
Thief
Ninja
Assassin
Marksman
So yeah, if anybody cares to add on the list so i may add a bit more variety, please do :3

I suppose you could throw in some sort of trapper as a stealth based class, or something like alchemist with bombs and potions.
Still, don't get stuck on the whole class thinking- You don't need 80 different classes for each characters with millions of combinations. If you pick classes at the start of the game then the chances are that people will go with 1 healer, 1 auto-attacker, one with burst(nuke) dps skills and another auto-attacker, preferably with strong skills.
So don't get all stuck on the classes, if you can't think up any more - you probably don't need them.

Maybe something along the lines of Blade Master, Soldier, Vanguard, Myrmidon, Fencer, Swordsmith, Duelist, Blade, Swashbuckler, Warrior, Gladiator, Buccaneer, Musketeer. Hope some of these help. For green mage you may be able to get by with a Chemist, Alchemist, Scientist even. Sorry but I don't have any for the Blue Mage. Hope that some of these can be helpful.

I'm surprised no one recommended Ranger/Hunter/Sniper.
But yeah, try to look at the previous post's date before posting. Or at least make a "I know this is kinda late, but in case you ever come back blah blah" note.
