I just transferred my old 3ds to my new 3ds and i had to redownload some software right?

So apparently because i bought my 3ds back when it first came out for the high price, i get download 20 games for free for gba, nes, etc!  (Did not know that)

I got metroid fusion, zelda minish cap, fzero and others for free.  So for anyone else who bought one over 2 years ago, see if you can redownload these games too! (if you signed up for some crap before hand that is.)

Like how Sony gave free games after their ****-up of being hacked? Or how Sony gives free games each month with their PSN+ subscriptions? I mean, sure it's nice of Nintendo but don't act like they're the only one.

It's as simple as them rewarding early adopters instead of just sticking them with the nearly $100 higher price tag. It's not like no other company has ever handed out freebies to appease the masses after a mistake on their end, but few have ever offered such an unrequired nicety.
