Wow, this looks hard to make xD What if you compile a japanese town chipset and a ship chipset and adapt it to look like your ref? I can help adapting it, but not doing all the chipset, it's too much work, sorry.

These graphics are not free for use, but part of a new RTP being done. I want some critics on them.

I think you may request this on a new topic, because I don't know what should I do exactly to make it in the best way. Also, maybe you will have not enough with just a chipset, so consider using parallax mapping.

I love these monsters and battle backgrounds. Very neat done (well, slime could be done lil bit better). And Ship chipset (3) is actually waaaay better than (1) and (2).

That ships looks rad, only the mast's angle looks a tiny bit off.

The monsters are superb without a doubt, only the slime(?) that could use some extra work. And the backgrounds are all just marvellous. Great eye for detail there. However, if they are supposed to be used as battle backgrounds, then you probably need more space for the heroes and monsters.

Thanks guys. I know the slime looks a bit unfinished, it's because these monsters were for a communitary project where I'm not the only graphist, and they have better slimes.

Balmung2281: Wow thank you for saying the last ship is better, the first ones were so much old. However I believe all three can be useful as they are.

Prpl_Mage: Backgrounds are supposed to be like in RPG maker 2k, on a frontal battle where only the monsters are shown, so there's enough space.
About the mast angle... I didn't get a way to make it better, sorry.

I didn't show the two best chipsets yet, they still unfinished and I have no time... Be patient!

Critique wise, the sail on the ship looks a little out of place with the other graphics, and the skeleton monster could use more light/dark definition maybe: I dunno, it looks a little off for some reason.
