Just started working on my game again this the first I sprited.(with exception of the vertical/horizontal wooden bars on the waddle and daub house)

Triple-A companies don't deal in sprite art these days. It's all 3D models, or occasionally 2D hand-drawn stuff.

What you should have said is a Double-A studio. They don't have the biggest of budgets, so sprite art is still within their realm.

Or Sir Momo could open his own indie gaming Corp and make the next hit cult game everyone male's mondolicious  memes from. There's more money and fame there says the Big Z.

I agree with you, Archem. But could you imagine it?! A game like Shovel Knight but with a AAA studio's worth of content behind it.
It's the dream.

I've just been using Asesprite to animate some sprites. I'd really recommend the software for spriting. It's absolutely fantastic!

I'm currently working on a random map generator, too. So the idea is that it'll generate something in a similar fashion
to Spelunky or Rogue Legacy, giving it a bit of roguelikeness:

Did this while making resources to test my mondo neat way to make better weapons instead of buying them in my game.

You basically will find/buy parts to add to different weapons to 'promote' it to its next set. The very first of Zolty's you get for free as an example which it turning it from an mondo awkward little Egyptian Ankh into a full staff. When you do this you will see one if these neat face sets appear and the computer will check a value and show one of these face sets along with some data including what you need to upgrade is next.

The second reminds me of the scepter in Cardcaptor Sakura (I feel old now, thanks ). I think you should rework the third one as well, it's a bit "lazy" compared to the other ones. As in there's not so many changes other than more red and blue stripes.

Thank you! Lol yes I'm a mondo Card Captor fan so I'm old too. Also it's better than a 'standard magic kit rubber wand' Well how would you  make an upgrade to tonfanas?
