There won't be a draft! Congress already said they won't call it.

So... have you ever heard of L.F.O.? No? How about Napalm? Ever heard of that? Good. L.F.O. and Naplam are the same thing. But when they banned Napalm, they just renamed it so they could keep using it.

So, no, they won't re-instate the draft. They'll just rename the draft and pass that. Just like they did with Napalm.

The electoral system was invented to compensate for lack of communication. Way back in the ole days, it might take weeks for news of a canidate dying, or quitting, or something else happening. So they had the normal vote, and then sent their electoral to the electoral collage to make their final vote, where they could all get the latest news to make their final decision, in case they needed to change the vote.

Errm...if you're talking about how the election will turn out, it's already over. Bush won because Kerry conceded. If you're talking about how these four years will turn out, then I don't really have anything I can say. I can't predict the future, after all.

And for the rest of you people who don't want a draft. Yes, Congress has said that there will be no draft, but I am completely appalled at how piss weak you people are. You guys don't want to fight for your freedom, but you're willing to have others die so you can have freedom. That's bullshit. Many of the soldiers fight for our freedom and I respect them greatly for that. I despise people who don't want to fight for freedom, but will feed off freedom given by the soldiers.

Yeah. They fought for our freedom in WWI and WWII. The war in Iraq is nothing but a waste of life and money, and everyone knows it.
Before you argue with me, consider this: A country is soverign. It can do whatever it wants within its own borders without intervention from another country.
So Saddam tortured his own people. That's cruel, but America had NO REASON to intervene. ABSOLUTELY NO REASON.
If Saddam had launched an attack on America like Bin Laden did, Bush would've had good reason to attack them. But what did he have? A grudge and a report that said he had WMDs.

EDIT: For the record, I WOULD help out, was there another World War. I just don't like useless wars where people get butchered needlessly.

Oh yeah, and Sonic, I agree. We should have faith in our country, and our soldiers who are fighting in the war. That's about the only thing that we can do is have faith, and if we don't, then the country will fall apart. (emotional wise)

Oh, btw, Warxe, the reason we went to war with Iraq is that we saw a threat, and Bush wanted to stop something before it happened. Even though you can say now that it's a waste of time because there were no weapons of mass destruction, what about then. Pretty much everyone agreed that we should take action and prevent something bad from happening. We took a risk, because we thought is was the best thing to do. Even though now, we see there's no weapons, but they could've been moved. Or they might be hidden in a really good spot. You never know.
