The reason I pointed out that you were a noob wasn't because I thought you were a poor designer or anything, it was because you just came here and dug up an old topic to start an arguement up. When I go to a new forum, I usually check the topics that are active, not ones that no one has posted anything in for over a week.

This game and topic was brought to my attention, so I downloaded it and played it.

I don't know how it was brought to your attention, but considering you were basically saying the same things iisheron said, I had my feelings that you were either him, or like I also said, maby he just talked to you and "brought it to your attention".

I felt the need to register an account and post, hoping you would realize the many flaws in your game. Instead of willing to accept that your game ISN'T the new christ, you simply call me an idiot and claim I'm someone I'm more than obviously not.

Another reason why you are an idiot, you signed up just to flame my game. And as far as I can tell, the reasons you don't like my game is because it runs too slow on your computer, and because you don't like the systems I made. But if you would have read my topic, you would know that I was gonna fix the lag, I have said it numerous times through out the thread. A lot of games are better than mine, but there are also a lot of games that are worse, and so its stupid to single out my game to flame out of the many at this site. I call you an idiot not because you don't like my game, its just because you act so stupid. I don't know if your 10, or you just like to argue, but please stop wasting my time, I have much more valuable things to do rather than point out all your stupid comments.

But you know what, if you hate my game, just say it. But don't go dig through my project and dig up everything thats wrong with it and saying every thing I made sux. If you really think that a good game needs to have all the defult stuff in it, then go ahead and make a game like that, just don't keep bitching at me that i made my own stuff that I made.

And if you would give me a copy of your game, I'm sure I could dig up a bunch of faults with it too.

And I will post this at GW, but that will only be my final version. I'm sure when I do, everyone won't say that it sux because you have the choice to run, or that it dosen't use all defult systems. I'm sure that a few people won't like what I did, but its imposible to make everyone like ones game.

I did give you constructive criticism. You need to scrap the worthlessness of your game. It's in no way my fault that worthlessness includes most of your 'awesome' features.

In the chance you don't scrap them, at least make them worthwhile. So far you're just wasting cycles. You need a REASON to make a CBS. Just because you want to be OMG DIFFERENT, isn't good enough. Because then it becomes OMG WORTHLESS.

So just because I want to wait till June when I have my full version of my game done to post my game up at Gaming World, dosen't mean I've never been there. Telling me to scrap something is not constructive critisizm, and only a 10 year old or complete noob wouldn't realize it. I've beta tested a ton of games, when stuff is bad, I tell them how they can improve it, I don't tell them to just scrap it. And aparently its not "Worthlessness", because it seems that just about everyone else likes it.

Most people like it, I can't help it if you don't. But if you think you can do better, just try it. Tell you what, lets both make a tactical battle system like in FFT in rm2k3. We'll see who can do better. Hey, if you can't do that, I guess I could settle making a normal battle system. I'm sure if mine is just junk, it means you could do a lot better. He has been giving you constructive criticism all along. You're better off using the default Battle System if your CBS offers nothing the DBS doesn't. Yours obviously is poorly programmed and causes lag. So yeah, it'd be best to scrap it.

ok, if you don't think that my battle system dosen't do anything the dbs can't, then I have a little chalange for you.

In the dbs, make animated monsters, a custom layout, have sprites that can walk around and move, and a background that can move, have differant text boxes, make combo attacks, make a shapeshifting character, make a character that can leave the battle for a few turns and return in the same spot they left, make effects for the monster when it dies, make limit breaks that have a meter or something, have damage be partially determained by level, have a picture desplayed on the map, make certain numbers such as hp, mp, and dameage break the 9999 berier, and finally, have more than 4 heros fighting on your side at one time.

If you can do all of that with the dbs, then I'll switch to the dbs, if you can't, then it proves you are wrong in saying it can't do anything the dbs can't.

You also don't know what constructive critisism is. First off, constructive means builing something up or contributing to making something better. Taking a system out of my game dosen't make it better. If you dissagree, talk to all the people who like my battle system.

Ah. A programming challenge. I accept. I'm a programmer, so I have a little experience in the field.

I'm creating a game, too!
Battle script.
That is the code that controls my battle system. Let me know if it makes sense to you. All the code is 100% mine.


This is a Metroid fangame created in the engine named ika. Every bit of the code was made by either myself or the other team's programmer. I worked on the game's interface and general backend. Things such as the automap, equipment, and input. That sorta thing. I also created a lot of the HUD (heads up display).



It's more than obvious I would win when it came to both design and programming. I'm usually up for a pissing contest, but it's no fun when the odds are stacked for me.

WIP already said he accepted.  The coding was to show that he can handle more complex things than RM2K3 already, so this shouldn't be too hard for him.  Him wasting time making a tactical system in Rm2k3 ( which I'll admit will look like ****) won't be worth it though.  You and your buddies will just say yours is automagically better no matter what.

You are the 3rd person who has made their first post by dissing my game. And each time "some noob" comes, its after iishenron reads this thread. So I have a feeling someone is making all these new accounts or someone is telling people to sign up and diss my game. If someone is doing this, then stop and talk to me yourself on your original account, stop trying to bring more people into this arguement (or simply make it look like theres more people on your side), cuz its really starting to get annoying.

So Wildwürger, I don't want to see you posting anything else in this thread. If you really have something important to say to me, just send me a pm, but I don't want all these "first post noobs" spamming in my thread.

As for the battle system, what you can do with rm2k3's scripting is very limited, thus making a tbs wouldn't be so simple if you know visual basic, C++, ruby, ect. And if W.I.P. feels otherwise, have him say something.

Hmm, well actually, according to most people, my game is better with a cbs. Taking the cbs out wouldn't be "constructive" to my game. I don't mind if you give me suggestions on how to improve systems I have in the game, but please don't tell me to remove them.

Well I did a little background check, you are not even a member of GW. the only name that comes close to yours has 0 posts. Now, with a comment like yours, I would think you have been to GW. In fact, I did a check on everyone who sided with iishenron, and it seems like none of them are members of GW. I know WIP also said something about how I should post my game at GW and see what they think.

And since all of you had 0 posts before posting here, I have come to the conclusion that all your accounts are made by the same person. iishenron was however a member of GW, and had a decent number of posts, yet everyone mentioned GW.

One last thing that makes me believe you are all the same person, I have never seen any two of you on at the same time.

Its really sad that you have to make multiple accounts so it appears as people agree with you. I haven't had to say anything to the people who said good things about my game or defended my game when you showed up.
