i thought you didnt believe in god asakura?

Believe or not, I still respect the man. And soon, the camerlengo (sp?) will plan the next conclave, no longer than 15 days under and no more than 20 days after the popes death, where every cardinal in the world will attend the funeral, then conclave will decide the next pope.

Now, now, we should be happy, (IF he is dead) he is not suffering any pain anymore. He is with God in the heaven. He is in a better place.
Or he still alive and agonizing with a great amount of pain in his body and the news lied again. That would make sense since its April's Fool... even the news can do (bad) jokes.

That would be a horrible joke, telling everyone that the world's largest religion's leader has died.....

This is so sad, I hope he'll keep hanging on.
If not,
I hope he'll be in peace

*sigh* I wish you would all quit...

It's not worth crying about it...

This just is not nearly enough of a death to even earn a tear... just take it as it is...

After all, nothing can be done and nothing can be fixed; as long as time flows free...

And thats all I have to say...

Emotions?! God, we still have a war going on, remember?! Instead of crying for someone who is dying for a natural reason, and is in a hospital, he still have the chance of survive. Cry for the iraqians soldier who are being tortured and killed right now! Cry for the ones who still can be saved, but no one care!  Cry for the poor people!
He is a religious leader in a religion where there should be no ranks, no one be better than another, if you cry for someone like the pope, and you can't cry for some random guy that lived in the street and died last week because he couldn't eat, then you're going against the religion of this leader who is dying right now.
He is HUMAN, not someone better than us.
Thats all what I have to say.

Yes, good point. I pray to God that the war ends soon instead of making a WW3...

Yes.. And he has done many great things, the people over there with the Towel Heads are fighting for our country and the Pope has done things for our country also. No one said anything about our army? This is the pope thread. So I suggest making an Army thread if you want.

Yeah well I agree with the war thing but Jean-Paul II IS a religion leader. He has many followers and his death will be a huge loss to all his faithful....but in the end another Pope will appear...

If he goes, he goes. As bad as this may sound, there really isn't much hope for him. He has little chance of really making it through this, for he is old and his body isn't very strong. He most likely will die.
