Ok your game is interesting. after the intro I am in a forest and I have no idea what I am doing and now monsters keep attacking me and my default moves do zero damage or miss so the only way I can destroy monsters is with ether but now I ran out of magic points and I died.

Oh...stuck on the intro of all places? Well in the first map of the intro simply head to the top right of the screen. Sorry I should've made it more obvious. After the first map it should be pretty obvious where you should go.
