You don't find them disturbing- because you lose your sex drive. Your genitals start to go grey and crumbly and crumble off like ash and cinders. Then it spreads to your whole body except your tongue which can still taste. Then a seagull picks your tongue up and drops it accidentally in a tongue-revivial clinic where your tongue gets wired up. So you still have feelings etc, but you're a tongue on a life support machine. You then escape the clinic after tests and torchur and accidentally fall into a pit of Paris Hilton's tampons. Since you're a tongue, you can taste them. You get stuck and can't shout for help and have to lie like that until global warming destroys the earth. Then global warming comes and a guy punches it really hard and it goes away meaning you will have to lie like that until the apocalypse, which could be a while.
