Crappy Game Reviews: 2011 - Please read!

Yeah, I know, that's the best I could do for RPGXP. I can't figure that AVI script out, they should have just had it like in RM2K3 where it's a regular event, but no, you have to go through a bunch of scripting that doesn't work half the time so I used a trick, if you put the video in the BGM folder and play it like a regular play BGM event, it opens in a separate window and plays. The only problem is getting it to stop  .

I think the last game was one of the worst. It wasn't funny except for being really bad.

Drak, I think you should only review the epically shitty games.
I think taking requests will do nothing but kill brain cells. Save your reviews for things worthy of brain loss, like Sexy Chimps, LSD quest and Final Fantasy VII

I hear ya dude..  But if I just reviewed a few choice games nobody would have a chance to come out of the dark so to speak.  It's like American Idol.  Through all this terrible amounts of crap there has to be somebody good....  at making crap..   O.o

2. frustrating as hell
because I went for the second. Personally, I think it's funnier when games are incredibly hard and unforgiving than when they're just boring and stupid.

There's a difference between good-bad and bad-bad. If a game is clever in its absurdity or is so self-serious and sincere that you can't help but laugh (like the movies MST3K covers), that's more fun than a game that is so off-the-wall, offensively outrageous that it makes any witty remarks by the reviewer about how bad it is look redundant.

I don't think a game needs to constantly make self-references, that joke gets stale fast. It's better if you do that every once in a while, but only if it's funny.

I'll probably do a review in a while.  A good friend of mine moved out and it's been rough lately.  I'm sure i'm going to need some patience before playing Jacob's nightmare of a game.
