I know this is off-topic, but I'm stuck on season 3 right now and can't seem to get much drive to watch more episodes. Does it get any better?

I loved seasons 1 and 2.

In greatness order:

Season 1 = The almighty king!!!
Season 4 = Fantastic!
Season 5 = Really great up to now!
Season 2 = Very enjoyable to watch
Season 3 = Not as good as any of the others, but has some useful plot points and has its moments. The end of the season
really picks up and hits Dexter standards again.

Anyway, yeah. Saw is repulsive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not so much it's repulsive, as to it's all fake, but the plots get downhill.

However I'll admit that I've follow Wikipedia's read on the plot of the  movies.

And to clarify with the miscarriage. The lady was Jigsaw's wife and Amanda was a junkie at the time who knew his wife. She had her boyfriend rob the clinic Jig's wife worked at but hit her with the doorknob by accident. This was only showing you what led the man to do what he was doing.

In the beginning when it was only Jigsaw, he made puzzles in order to make people fight for their lives. However, he didn't realize how sick in the head his other partners are and Amanda and the other guy who's name I forgot took it too far. That is why it has gotten much more gore.

If you look past the OMGURGUTSRONDAFLOOR part, it actually has a decent plot.

I like the series even tho I do believe they did overkill on it.

I also liked the Hostel series. But I guess I'm just a fan of serious horror/gore flicks...or a serial killer in the making. ;3

Hostel was more torture oriented than Saw btw ppl.

The last 3-4 Saw movies had to do with a guy who tried to follow  an already fallacious set of mind and failed to the extreme.
