Man, you stop playing minecraft for a few weeks and blam! new ****. Looking good as always. I may actually download this pack and catch up on some minecraft.

I know, the new Nether Ore makes the Nether a worthwile place, also Nether Brick's being added makes making Nether Brick stuff easier, instead of hunting down a fortress.

New light detector and hopper is neato, trapped chests are awesome for puzzle maps, and of course.
TNT mine carts and detonation rails.

The only thing I'm really excited for is the way texture packs are ran. Now blocks and items are done individually, block by block, item by item. Instead of one sheet, each item and entity has it's own .png file. This allows for easy animated items.

Yea, this update broke BUD switches. Apparently 1.5 is supposed to add their own BUD switch.
1.5 isn't coming out fast enough. A lot of the stuff I've posted is from snapshots and such.
