Yeah, by far.

Wrath has 212 and Juno 137. The short story collection has 24 and the Spring Valley collection has 10. I'm not too surprised by the books numbers though, I don't really think people go to itchio looking for books generally.

And I think the biggest reason for this games download numbers is cause it's been on the front page of charas for a long time. Which brought in downloads and in turn boosted it's visibility on itchio.
Graphic style probably help it a bit too, set it apart from the default rpg maker look.

HOLY CRAP! I know I'm personally responsible for some of those as I recommend it to any fan of Earthbound or Undertale I know and a few people in RL when they ask me "So what kind of games do you work on?" but even then WOW! Way to go Joel and co!

I'm mostly happy that like a thousand people thought it looked interesting enough to download. That's almost 100 times more people than I'd imagined with our very scarce PR.

Yeah! It's pretty amazing! It's way more than I ever thought a chain game would get. We got a bunch of followers as well that will be notified when we post the Cowboy one!

Is it possible to let them know another one is in the making? Haven't invested a lot of time on Itch yet.

No, not really. It only notifies people when you upload a new project or post a devlog on a project. But we could make a devlog on Spring Valley teasing the new one, and people would get notified by it. Not sure, but maybe the people who downloaded it gets notified too.

Well I don't think RPG maker.net tracks their downloads and they are only people I know who also make Chain Games. Though unlike us with only ..two to three DOA projects they have tons. Though to their credit they have several on VX and MV that do work I think they just aren't stand alone.
