EDIT: Very cool. I dig the pictures of the key items; makes the game come to life so much more. Too bad you had to have the consumables in a fixed list so they appear even if you don't have any, but RM2K3 has its limitations. The beach chipset looks pretty good after all, especially with the rays of light coming down. When you're thick in the forest, something lighting like this would be neat.

I'm hoping someone can make me a better light pattern. I threw that trash together in a few minutes! :p

I'm thinking of workarounds for the list, like having Hero names, and renaming them as (Empty) if the variable
for the item is 0.

Valiere, you'll be pleased to know that I've fixed it! Items unavailable are displayed as "(Empty)" and when selected,
re-open the selection box.

Does anyone fancy re-designing some menus for me, since they're a bit MS paint-ish?

This first one looks awfully tacky. Feel free to completely re-make it for me if you please:


The second one looks okay, and I like the style. However, the background looks like it could be put together
more neatly, in my opinion:

IMPORTANT: If this one were to be edited, the character boxes, and the fonts and boxes, would have to stay in the exact same place.
It's the actual background which could do with some neatening up. Still, if you did redo it, could you keep the radical art style going?

Glad you approve! Want me to redo the other one? I like the pattern you've done, but I can make it look a bit smoother.

And I can edit the fonts, just not their placement, right?

You can edit the fonts if you want, but would you be able to send seperate pictures to overlay them?

As you make selections, the words need to be highlighted, you see.

If you can do that, then I'd be more than happy for you to miracle it over again!

I'll just mess with the background and the icons....you probably know what fonts will work better anyway.
